  • Patent number: 11918757
Abstract: A multi lumen catheter assembly. The assembly provides an expandable, low profile, fixed length sheath and catheter, with fixed infusion ports. The assembly has an expandable outer sheath that expands upon pressure activation with a fluid and the sheath allows the fluid to exit from at least one predetermined fixed location from a distal end of the catheter assembly. The catheter assembly can be used in various medical device procedures, such as a TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt) procedure, or anywhere a low profile, multi lumen, infusion catheter system is desired.

  • Publication number: 20200110038
Abstract: A colorimetric sensor for drugs and an associated method provide for delivery of particles to the sensor and a colorimetric reagent containing element having a plurality of dyes structured to provide a color change when the airborne particles indicate the presence of fentanyl or fentanyl analogues. The color change may be monitored by an optical identifier which delivers responsive information to a programmable controller which, in turn, may activate a visual alarm or an audible alarm.

  • Patent number: 5720057
Abstract: A portable mattress assembly adapted for use in disaster relief situations having mattress support material engineered to provide a suitable balance between portability and comfort. The mattress assembly includes a fabric envelope adapted to provide a rugged, waterproofed, posterior surface, with a pocket defined therein, in combination with a more supple, water resistant, anterior surface. The fabric envelope further includes fasteners disposed to temporarily attach the mattress assembly to a cot, stretcher staffs, or additional mattress assemblies. The mattress assembly may be folded and retained in accordion fashion and provides handles thereon for portage.

  • Patent number: 5451322
Abstract: The present invention is a membrane method and apparatus for separating isotopic water constituents from light water. The method involves providing a supported membrane of an aromatic polyphosphazene and pressurizing the water on one side of the membrane thereby forcing the light water through the supported membrane while isotopic water constituents are retained or vice versa. The apparatus of the present invention includes an aromatic polyphosphazene placed on a porous support and means for pressurizing water through the membrane while certain isotopic water constituents are retained.
