  • Patent number: 7368174
Abstract: An aqueous dispersion coating for rubber and polymer substrates comprises a blend of a polysiloxane and a curable polyurethane and various additives such as a urethane crosslinking agent, a heat resistant filler, and the like. The aqueous dispersion coating reduces the noise upon contact or movement of the coated substrate with an article and maintains the initial static coefficient of friction therewith over a period of time. A desired end use is as a coating on vehicle weatherstrips such as for doors, trunks, and other enclosing articles.

  • Patent number: 5212212
Abstract: A zinc-stable ceramic ink composition which contains a metal oxide, a glass frit, a UV-curable vehicle, zinc powder, and a calcium-containing organic complex. The calcium-containing organic complex prevents premature polymerization of the UV-curable vehicle so that the zinc-containing ink composition may be stored for extended periods of time prior to use.

  • Patent number: 4198200
Abstract: Thermosetting addition-polymerizable unsaturated urethane or urea compositions have been developed which are especially suited for use as damage-preventive coatings for wood, metal, glass, ceramic, and plastic structures. The use of the coatings as containment vessels for photoflash lamps is described.
