  • Publication number: 20050044103
Abstract: Systems and methods for extending a directory schema independent of schema modification are described. In one aspect, a directory schema data structure includes a flexible attribute data field. The flexible attribute data field identifies a complex data type. The complex data type is used to express one or more operational or data providing properties of a flexible attribute. The one or more operational or data providing properties are independent of the complex data type and independent of directory schema modification. The directory schema data structure also includes a flexible structural object content class to encapsulate the flexible attribute.

  • Publication number: 20050027713
Abstract: Subject matter includes a password management system in which a web application obtains a list of accounts associated with a given user from an identity integration system connected to diverse data sources and in which a password can be updated in each data source, even when the identity integration system does not natively communicate with a data source.

  • Publication number: 20050001709
Abstract: An inductive device (200) that includes a core (210) configured so as to be a closed loop and at least one coil (220) around the core, and methods for assembly. The coil is formed from a material having a cross-section with an aspect ratio of a first dimension to a second adjacent dimension, with the first dimension being longer than the second dimension, wherein the coil is positioned around the core such that the first dimension is essentially normal to the core. In one embodiment the core includes a removable core section to enable assembly of the inductive device by slidably placing the coil onto the core through an opening formed in the core by removing the core section. In another embodiment, the coil is rotated to cause it to wind around the core.

  • Publication number: 20040222286
Abstract: An automated banking machine (10) is provided. The automated banking machine may include a fascia (50) in operative connection with a frame (110). The machine may include a plurality of hardware devices which are accessible through the fascia. The hardware devices may include a cash dispenser (24), receipt printer (20), and a card reader (22). The fascia may include replaceable bezels (550,552) with apertures therein for providing access to hardware devices. The bezels may be operative to float with respect to the fascia and hardware devices to automatically align hardware devices with the bezels. In addition the hardware devices may include movable portions which are operative to automatically align with the bezels. The bezels may include ramps, ribs, or other angled surfaces which guide the hardware devices into alignment with the openings in the bezels.

  • Patent number: 6570143
Abstract: The wavefront sensing device consists of a light source, a binary phase mask (10), a fixed focus lens (11) and at least two finite sized spatially separated detectors (12) positioned in the plane of focus of the wavefront sensing device. The binary phase mask (10) simultaneously applies a positive bias and a negative bias to the wavefront of the incident light such that a pair of spatially separated light points are generated in the plane of focus and detected by the detectors (12). The difference in intensity between the pair of light points is representative of the aberration of the wavefront of the incident light from the ideal.

  • Patent number: 6240856
Abstract: The vehicle tool tray has a T-shaped based mounted on casters. A vertical post is mounted to the base at the junction of the shaft and crossbar of the Tee. The vertical post is composed of two telescoping sections which are preferably square and tubular in cross section. The telescoping sections are firmly clamped at the desired height by a lock mechanism having a cam and a crank lever pivotally attached to a U-shaped bracket, the cam releasably engaging one of a plurality of slots defined in the upper section of the vertical post. The upper telescoping section of the vertical post is also T-shaped. A pair of short angle irons extend horizontally from the ends of the crossbar of the upper section of the vertical post. The tray is supported on the angle irons and crossbar of the upper section in cantilever fashion. The tray includes a plurality of dividers sectionalizing the top surface of the tray into compartments adapted for holding tools or small parts.
