Patent number: 11509258Abstract: Solar tracking installation includes first movement assembly which functionally engages with the primary axis shaft to cause rotation of the primary axis shaft around the primary axis for moving the plurality of planar modules of solar collector elements in a first rotational direction around the primary axis. The installation further includes a second movement assembly which functionally engages with the secondary movement member to cause tilting of each of the plurality of planar modules of solar collector elements around each respective pivotal mount. In this way the movement of the multitude of solar collection elements is a combination of the rotation of first movement assembly and the tilting motion caused by the second movement assembly.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2018Date of Patent: November 22, 2022Assignee: Xirasol Pty LtdInventors: Glenn Robert Melton, Allan James Brady

Patent number: 11061156Abstract: System and methods for generating microseismic velocity models are provided. One or more existing well sites in proximity to a planned well site are selected. Historical microseismic velocity models associated with the selected well sites are obtained. The formation depths for each velocity component of the historical models are correlated to formation depths from well logs acquired for a subsurface formation associated with the planned well site. A classification and non-linear regression on the historical microseismic velocity models is performed to identify the best-fitting velocity components for layers of the subsurface formation corresponding to the correlated formation depths. An initial microseismic velocity model of the formation is generated using the best-fitting velocity components. Seismic wave propagation through each layer of the formation is simulated using the generated model.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 2019Date of Patent: July 13, 2021Assignee: HALLIBURTON ENERGY SERVICES, INC.Inventors: Sean Robert Machovoe, James Brady Carmichael

Patent number: 10849400Abstract: The invention relates to hair dryers. Various techniques for improving air flow in hair dryers are described, including a hair dryer providing laminar flow air. In another variant a hair dryer has a two air flow channels: one a hot air channel the other a cool air channel, with the cool air channel circumscribing the hot air channel. The nozzle end of the hair dryer is arranged such that the cool air channel extends forward of the hot air channel outlet. This allows a hair dryer to be placed close to, or on, a person's hair/head without and risk of burning the person's head. A hair dryer with external power supply is also described which reduces the weight of the housing held by a user.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2013Date of Patent: December 1, 2020Assignee: Jemella LimitedInventors: Robert Alexander Weatherly, Matthew James Brady, Jonathan James Larkin, Timothy David Moore, Steve Sayers

Patent number: 10311315Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of utilizing a camera array system to detect a load status of a semi-trailer truck. A sensor array is affixed to a surface of a trailer of the semi-trailer truck to automatically determine whether a cargo area of the semi-trailer truck is occupied. A set of cameras of the sensor array have each camera embedded in individual recesses of the sensor array. The cargo area is illuminated using at least one light source of the sensor array. A memory and a processor associated with the sensor array are configured to store one baseline image of the cargo area of the trailer in an empty state. The processor is configured to detect a triggering event. The processor determines a cargo status based upon a difference between the current image and the baseline image, and sends the cargo status to a dispatcher.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2017Date of Patent: June 4, 2019Inventors: Jeffrey M.
