  • Publication number: 20240183470
Abstract: A fitting includes a first and second threaded fitting component and a conduit gripping device receivable within the first threaded fitting component. A stroke resisting member is integral with the first threaded fitting component and includes a web having a first radial thickness and extending axially inward from the first threaded fitting component to a distal ring portion having a second radial thickness greater than the first radial thickness. A radially extending bearing surface of the distal ring portion axially engages a radially extending portion of the second fitting component when the first and second fitting components are joined together to the first relative axial position. The stroke resisting member resists additional axial stroke of the first and second fitting components, such that a tightening torque beyond the first relative axial position is increased by the axial engagement.

  • Publication number: 20230037087
Abstract: A method for creating a memory map of a memory present in a target machine is disclosed for electronically protecting computer systems. In one step, extracting operating system details and kernel details from the target machine. A memory image is generated from the operating system and the kernel details extracted from the target machine. The memory image comprises similar configuration as that of the target machine. A memory map is created from the memory image. The memory map includes a list of applications running in the memory of the target machine at a particular instance of time. The memory map is analyzed for security issues to identify the applications running at the particular instance of time.

  • Publication number: 20080091800
Abstract: A multifunction device enables access to both services resident on the multifunction device (MFD) and remote services through a user interface that processes digital documents through use of a Web browser. The device includes a browser for requesting and viewing external web applications pages on the local user interface of the MFD for remote service(s) running in the browser and for transmitting system events to remote service browser page(s). The device also includes a local applications service, which controls services resident on the MFD, and a local user interface, which permits local and remote systems to interrogate and control the MFD. Web services provide application programming interface(s) capable of utilizing a plurality of web protocols.

  • Publication number: 20030043416
Abstract: In a network-based input scanning system, wherein a sender scanning a hard-copy document at a scanner sends the resulting image data to an electronic mail address, the scanner appends an electronic mail address of the sender in the “From:” space of the electronic mail message. In this way, status messages or other responses to the electronic mail message bearing the image data are directed to the sender's computer, and not only to the scanner itself. The identity of the sender is determined by a network-login step the sender uses to access the scanner.
