  • Publication number: 20040100025
Abstract: A wagering card game is described whereby players compete against the dealer. Players place an ante bet and five cards are dealt to each player and the dealer. Players decide to make a call bet or fold, a call bet being double an ante bet. Players can purchase one or two draw cards to improve the rank of a hand. Additionally, a player can make one bonus payout wager. If a player hand defeats a dealer hand and the player has not folded, a player is paid even money on the ante bet and a schedule amount on the call bet. If a player loses against the dealer, the player loses their ante and/or call bets. The bonus payout wagers are separate from and immaterial to the outcome between the dealer hand and the player hand. If a dealer hand does not qualify, a game round is terminated after even money is paid on the ante bet of those players who have not folded, and any bonus payout wager is paid.
