  • Patent number: 5242164
Abstract: A tabletop hockey game includes a scoring member configured for affixation to a player's hand. The scoring member includes a transversely curved shooting portion which enables the player to lift the puck above the playing surface for top shelf scoring.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 12, 1992
Date of Patent: September 7, 1993
    Inventor: James D. Nicoll
  • Patent number: 5208921
Abstract: A stopper assembly for a drain pipe includes a closure member having a stopper at one end and a cylindrical portion configured to fit into the drain pipe. An actuator disposed outside the drain pipe is magnetically coupled to the closure member and may be manipulated to raise and lower the closure member so as to open and close the drain outlet. The magnetic coupling avoids the need for any levers or other mechanical elements to pass through the wall of the drain pipe.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 13, 1992
Date of Patent: May 11, 1993
    Inventor: James D. Nicoll
  • Patent number: 5141115
Abstract: A cluster bin assembly includes a generally planar member which may be folded into a bin shaped configuration and mounted on a wall. The member includes hook-like portions which cooperate with wall brackets to retain the folded bin therein. The bin includes particularly configured supports for retaining the base thereof.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 18, 1991
Date of Patent: August 25, 1992
    Inventor: James D. Nicoll
  • Patent number: 4955488
Abstract: A cluster bin assembly includes a generally planar member which may be folded into a bin-shaped configuration and mounted upon a wall. The member includes hook-like portions which cooperate with wall brackets to retain the folded bin therein. The particular configuration of the bin results in support of the base of the bin by the wall thus providing for a rigidly supported floor in the bin without the need for additional fastening.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 24, 1989
Date of Patent: September 11, 1990
    Inventor: James D. Nicoll
  • Patent number: 4854773
Abstract: Accordingly, the present invention provides a strip stored as a roll and adapted to be unrolled along a support surface supporting a fluid. The strip includes a flexible matrix and a plurality of weighted material dispensed through the matrix and secured therein and having a predetermined weight to allow the strip to rest upon a support surface supporting a fluid thereon.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 20, 1988
Date of Patent: August 8, 1989
