  • Publication number: 20240140633
Abstract: In an example embodiment, an apparatus for making pouch products includes a conveyor system. The conveyor system includes a first receiving location along a path of the conveyor system, and a dosing location along the path of the conveyor system. The apparatus also includes a first material dispensing station configured to transfer a first material to the first receiving location. The first material includes a first elastic layer and a first support layer. The first material dispensing station includes a dispenser roller configured to hold a roll of the first material, a plurality of rollers configured to convey the first material from the dispenser roller to the first receiving location, and a stripper plate configured remove at least a portion of the first support layer from a portion of the first elastic layer.

  • Patent number: 11958645
Abstract: Systems and methods for manufacturing and inserting a pre-determined number of material-filled pouches into containers are disclosed. A system includes a pouch providing system comprising a plurality of lanes, wherein each one of the plurality of lanes includes a pouch making machine and a hold-back structure. The system also includes a conveyor system structured and arranged to move a plurality of containers into alignment with the plurality of lanes. The system further includes a controller structured and arranged to control the hold-back structure in each one of the plurality of lanes such that the pre-determined pouches are inserted into the plurality of containers when the plurality of containers are aligned with the plurality of lanes.

  • Patent number: 11841833
Abstract: A method includes executing, by a computing device, a reorganization command within an environment; monitoring, by the computing device, unprocessed replication transactions within the environment; determining, by the computing device, whether the unprocessed replication transactions exceed a threshold; and pausing, by the computing device, the executing the reorganization command in response to determining the unprocessed replication transactions exceed the threshold.

  • Patent number: 6758423
Abstract: A system and method of storing and reading parameter data associated with an electrostatic spray gun power supply is provided. The method includes, for example, the steps of reading parameter data associated with a power supply for a particular spray gun from a database and storing the parameter data in a memory device associated with the spray gun. The parameter data may include the drive current parameter information, for example, and additionally, spray gun type identification information. The memory device is preferably integral with the spray gun or a cable connector that connects to the spray gun. The data or information can be in the form of analog or digital information. After reading the spray gun power supply parameter data, the spray gun controller appropriately operates and monitors the spray gun to ensure that the spray gun power supply is performing properly.

  • Patent number: 4061570
Abstract: The system disclosed is for controlling the iodine level in a water supply in a spacecraft. The system iodinates drinking water as necessary. It includes an iodine accumulator which stores crystalline iodine, an electro-chemical valve to control the input of iodine to the drinking water and an iodine dispenser. A pump dispenses fluid through the iodine dispenser and an iodine sensor to a potable water tank storage. The iodine sensor electronically detects the iodine level in the water, and through electronic means, produces a correction current control. The correction current control operates the electro-chemical iodine valve to release iodine from the iodine accumulator into the iodine dispenser.
