    Abstract: A device for controlling a cursor on an avionics display screen. The device has a grab handle conveniently located and shaped to be comfortably gripped. The handle is equipped with a trackball which can be turned by the thumb to move the cursor on the display. Alternatively or additionally, a trigger may be provided to effect a select function using the index finger. One or more switches may be provided on the handle to change the content on the display.
