  • Publication number: 20130269410
Abstract: A duct detector housing includes a housing cover and a housing body defining a midline between the center of a detector and a printed circuit board within said body. Gas inlet and outlets are off axis of the midline to allow water that collects in conventional housing to drain from the housing. A maintenance mode button associated with a duct detector housing cover that is secured to a housing body of the housing provides a preselected time period during which removal of the cover is independent of a cover removal alarm. A printed circuit board within the housing has dedicated terminal blocks providing grouped connections with each of the groups segregated from another. An improved duct detector terminal has a hole in the terminal adapted to receive a test meter probe therethrough to provide an electrical contact between the wire.

  • Patent number: 8424394
Abstract: An air sampling tube is provided that provides superior air flow, strength, and manufacturability and couples to an air sampling sensor housing. The sidewall of the tubular section has an axially extending groove. To facilitate installation and inspection, an air sampling tube is provided with a starter cap. An end cap prevents air flow through the distal end of the tube. An air sampling tube is provided that assures proper axial positioning of tubular section apertures through resort to a coupler with a rotationally asymmetric joining element. A modular kit is provided that allows for custom installation without resort to cutting or forming operations in the field.

  • Patent number: 8141422
Abstract: A duct detector housing includes a housing cover and a housing body having a gas inlet and a gas outlet. The gas inlet is in fluid communication with a gas conveying duct. The housing body is adapted to have a detector therein and being complementary to the cover to form an interface therebetween. A binary mode securement mechanism for securing the cover to the housing body in either only an open or closed position is provided to overcome the uncertainty with conventional housings as to the integrity of the closure. A process for ensuring a cover is closed against a housing body of a duct detector housing includes placing the cover in complementary contact with a surface of the housing body and engaging the binary mode securement mechanism to provide only binary either positive or completely an open or closed position for the cover relative to the housing body.

  • Patent number: 7204522
Abstract: A duct coupled air sampling detector housing includes a box to contain the detector. The box has a slotted sleeve adapted to receive tubular conduit having a protruding conduit tab. The conduit upon passing the protruding conduit tab through the sleeve slot is rotated such that the tab rests against a notch in the sleeve end that prevents the conduit from disengaging from the box. A conduit retainer overlies the inner end of the sleeve. A cover seals against the front face of the box to enclose the box volume containing the detector.

  • Patent number: 5009215
Abstract: An archery bow rest shelf portion amounts brackets having upper and lower horizontal arms that respectively mount an arrow holder and an arm rest device for pivotal movement between generally vertical extending positions for engaging opposite sides of the arrow shaft to aid in retaining the arrow in an emplacement position and stabilizing an arrow as it is being propelled by the bow string. The swing arm is generally of a frusto-sector shape with its forward base corner portion pivotally mounted on the lower leg between the vertical position extending above the first leg to a datum position having its arrow supporting, arcuately curved surface forwardly of its vertical position and extending to a lower elevation.

  • Patent number: 4038960
Abstract: An arrow holder including a bifurcated end cooperating with a bow side or arrow rest to continuously hold an arrow in emplacement under virtually every condition including while a bow and strung arrow are being carried about in a non-shooting position, while an arrow is being drawn to a fully-drawn position, and while an arrow is being held in a fully-drawn position. Upon release of an arrow, forward movement of the arrow operates to break the cooperation between the bifurcated end and bow side or arrow rest and release an arrow for free flight.
