Abstract: A snow plow assembly which can quickly and easily be attached to and detached from a variety of different type vehicles. The assembly including a tongue member pivotably connected to a bracket which in turn is attached to a plow blade. The tongue member having a coupling device on its other end for attachment to a vehicle while a stabilizer bar is also attached at one of its ends to the vehicle so as to prevent lateral movement of the assembly. The plow blade is locked at a desired angle by the insertion of a single pin member through a plurality of aligned holes formed in the stabilizer bar, tongue member, and the support bracket. Additionally, compression springs are used to allow the plow blade to tip with respect to the support bracket so as to insure that both the plow assembly and the vehicle are not subject to undue stress when the blade hits an immovable object.
