  • Publication number: 20150086089
Abstract: A system automatically verifies the authenticity of a manually handwritten symbol entered into a computer or other electronic device by a user writing on an electronic tablet or pad. After a symbol is entered, a logic device determines whether the sensing locations and points in time associated with sensing the imprint of this symbol on the tablet substantially match respective sensing locations and points in time associated with the imprint of one of the previously stored original handwritten symbols. Preferably, the sensors are arranged in a prescribed line pattern, for example that of a square, immediately beneath the writing surface of the tablet, and sense the intersections of the imprint with the line pattern.

  • Patent number: 8069794
Abstract: A portable desk with a generator for providing electrical power to a computer or other electrical device that is collapsibly foldable to a compact form wherein successive sections comprise a back panel, a desk top panel hinged from the top edge of the back panel, two side panels hinged from the side edges of the back panel, two bottom panels hinged from the bottom edges of the side panels and two movable foot treadle panels hinged to the bottom edge of the back panel. The generator is removably attached to the top panel and is connected to the foot treadles so the generator is operated by actuating the foot treadles. The power generator comprises an electrical connection, such as a USB connector, for a computer or other electrical device.

  • Patent number: 6688973
Abstract: A system for using trading cards interactively through an electronic network, such as the Internet, combines uniquely identified trading cards with specially designed electronic services. Each trading card, which designates a game player, such as a sports talent, has associated therewith a unique identifier of alphanumeric characters. The game playing rights to a subset of these trading cards is sold to a plurality of card collectors, the game players designated by the cards of each subset forming a game playing “team” to be managed by the respective card collector. The collector registers selected ones of the cards from his/her subset of cards with a game service provider, thus placing the game players designated by the selected cards “in play”.
