  • Patent number: 11369855
Abstract: A fitness-equipment storage bench for use in aiding or supplementing a physical activity in a physical-activity environment whilst enabling storage of fitness equipment, the fitness-equipment storage bench comprising a cuboidal or substantially cuboidal body having first and second ends, two opposing sides between the first and second ends, a top and a bottom; at least one recess formed in one of the said sides; at least one cantilevered bar support in the recess for supporting a dumbbell such that a grip axis of the dumbbell is received entirely within the recess; at least one rotatable element at or adjacent to the first end or the second end to facilitate reorientation of the bench; a pivotable user back support on the top of the cuboidal body; and a stay associated with the back support to hold the back support in at least one raised condition.

  • Patent number: 11327692
Abstract: A method is provided of producing and assembling a multi-part surface-mountable physical-activity lamina for use in aiding or supplementing a physical-activity in a physical-activity environment. There is a step a] of providing a first graphic design model of the lamina; and b] segmenting the first graphic design model into a plurality of graphic design model portions. A step c] follows of arranging the graphic design model portions into a more compact second graphic design defining a reduced surface area; and then d] the second graphic design being applied to a lamina substrate having another surface area. The lamina substrate is then separated into lamina elements corresponding to the graphic design model portions, followed by a step e] of assembling the lamina elements onto a mounting surface at a physical-activity environment to form the surface-mountable physical-activity lamina.

  • Patent number: 10814205
Abstract: A reconfigurable fitness equipment storage apparatus is provided which is both freestanding and wall-mountable. The apparatus comprises two spaced apart parallel elongate uprights, a wall-engagable element to retain each upright in a position relative to an associated wall, a ground support member associated with each upright, and at least one shelving element which is selectably mountable between the uprights in a wall-mounted condition and a freestanding condition. In the wall-mounted condition, the or each shelving element is cantilevered from the uprights to be fixable to the wall via the wall-engagable elements. In the freestanding condition, the or each shelving element is positioned such that a centre of gravity of the or each shelving element is coincident or substantially coincident with a plane extending between uprights to enable the storage apparatus to be self-supported on the said ground support members.
