Abstract: A power strip is described which includes a first unit containing a connecting member and an electrical outlet, wherein the first unit is electrically connected to a plug; and (b) a second unit electrically connected to the first unit, the second unit containing an electrical outlet and a complementary connecting member that is complementary to the connecting member of the first unit, wherein the second unit is removably attached to the first unit by cooperation of the connecting member of the first unit and the connecting member of the second unit.

Abstract: A modular power strip having two or more modules with each having at least one electrical outlet. The modules are removably connected to each other to provide one or more remote electrical connections. Each module is electrically connected. An electrical cord connecting the modules can be stored when the modules are connected.

Abstract: A glare filter for a computer monitor having a support element with a first side and a second side, and a frame with a first side and a second side. The first side of the frame is pivotably connected to the first side of the support element, and the second side of the frame is pivotably connected to the second side of the support element. The glare filter also has a filter medium secured to the frame and at least one clip for removably attaching the support element to the computer monitor.

Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a keyboard having a first and a second mounting member with each mounting member having a first end and a second end spaced from the first end. A first and a second tray member are slidably mounted to the first and the second mounting member, respectively. A first and a second rear mounting bracket and a first and a second front mounting bracket are also provided. The first rear mounting bracket is adjustably mounted to the first end of the first mounting member and the second rear mounting bracket is adjustably mounted to the first end of the second mounting member. The first front mounting bracket is adjustably mounted to the second end of the first mounting member and the second front mounting bracket is adjustably mounted to the second end of the second mounting member. A keyboard tray may be provided with the tray having a first side connected to the first tray member, and a second side spaced from the first side and connected to the second tray member.

Abstract: A mounting device for removably attaching a support apparatus to a work surface, the support apparatus having a first mounting bracket with a first attachment plate and a second mounting bracket with a second attachment plate. The mounting device comprises a first clamp slidably connected to the first mounting bracket and a second clamp slidably connected to the second mounting bracket. Each clamp has a first wall, a second wall, and a third wall. The first attachment plate is positioned between the first and third walls of the first clamp, and the second attachment plate is positioned between the first and third walls of the second clamp.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a pressure equalization system for use in a dive mask of the type used for scuba diving and skin diving. The dive mask generally includes a frame in which a substantially transparent window or lens is mounted. A flexible skirt is also attached to the frame and includes a nosepiece configured to fit over the nose of the diver. An equalizer system includes a pair of buttons disposed to cooperate with the sidewalls of the nosepiece. The diver can simply press the buttons towards one another to seal his or her nose when equalizing internal and external pressure.

Abstract: An improved diving mask is disclosed. The diving mask includes a frame and a lens mounted and sealed within the frame. A flexible skirt is also mounted to the frame and designed to form a seal with a diver's face around the eyes and nose of the diver. The skirt includes a flexible nosepiece that fits over the nose of the diver. A stiff bracket is mounted to the frame and extends partially over the nosepiece. Additionally, an actuator is adjustably mounted to the bracket and cooperates with the nosepiece to selectively squeeze the nosepiece and restrict airflow through the nose of the diver.

Abstract: A breast pump includes a housing, a suction unit mounted in the housing, a rippled funnel for engaging a mother's breast, and an adapter for interconnecting same. The adapter is configured to sealingly support the funnel, frictionally sealingly support a bottle for collecting milk, and frictionally sealingly engage the housing. The adapter includes a tubular protrusion/stem defining a passageway for communicating air from the bottle to the suction unit to create a vacuum in the bottle. A pair of "O" rings are positioned on the protrusion to sealingly and stably engage the housing. A check valve is located in the protrusion to prevent back flow of milk from the bottle to the suction unit. The housing includes an outer surface defining a hand grip, and vacuum adjustment controls including a wheel for fine vacuum adjustment and a vacuum releasing push bottom are conveniently positioned on the hand grip.

Abstract: An endoscopic surgical instrument is manually manipulatable by a surgical operator. In one embodiment, the instrument provides an alignment between a hand-held grip and a housing whereby an acute angle is formed at the point of intersection of the axis of the housing and the axis of the grip. In another embodiment, the instrument provides a hand-held grip which includes a pivot portion through which the thumb of the operator is received and which may be pivoted laterally in relation to the housing. In another embodiment, the instrument provides up to complete axial rotation of the housing relative to an instrument body housed therein to permit ease of orientation of the housing and/or body during surgery.

Abstract: A body controller is provided for an endoscopic surgical instrument having a cylindrical housing and an instrument body concentrically disposed interior of the housing and moveable between first and second positions. The controller is designed to accommodate and be activated by light grasping and, preferably, compressive application of, a finger or thumb of the human operator to a section which preferably includes a flexible dome-like or other similarly shaped portion which is substantially immediately responsive to the application of the hand of the surgeon or other operator to activate a surgical instrument carried within the housing, such as a retractable needle, or the like, to one position. By withdrawing the finger or thumb of the surgeon from the flexible means, the instrument body may be moved to a second, or original, position.
