  • Publication number: 20230323520
Abstract: Preparing a coated steel including the steps of hot rolling or cold rolling, slurry blasting, and coating. The step of hot rolling or cold rolling including rolling a steel ingot to form a steel strip. The step of slurry blasting including slurry blasting at least one side of the steel strip. The step of coating being performed after slurry blasting and including coating the steel strip with an aluminum-based coating.

  • Patent number: 11039316
Abstract: A contextual SS7 firewall filter is inserted between a network operator and its roaming partners intra network and inter network SS7 traffic. SS7 firewall filter validates GSM MAP and GSM CAP messages based on specific criteria as provisioned for those message types and either allows them or blocks them from reaching their intended destination based on the validation results. The validation step involves verification of MSU correctness, verification of correctness of SS7 MTP fields for each MSU, and verification of correctness of SS7 SCCP fields for each MSU. SS7 firewall filter blocks GSM messages that fail at least one of the verification steps.

  • Publication number: 20190299564
Abstract: A laminated steel includes at least one laminate applied to one or more surfaces of a steel substrate using a zinc phosphate coating. Such a zinc phosphate coating can bond the steel substrate and laminate, while also eliminating the need for an additional cleaning step or pretreating step with a chromic solution prior to application of the laminate. This provides a more efficient and cost-effective process of applying the laminate to the steel.

  • Patent number: 5522492
Abstract: The present invention comprises an improved escalator handrail drive system. The system is a drive wheel with an uphill and downhill side, an escalator handrail wrapped around a portion of the drive wheel, and two pressure rollers. One pressure roller is positioned adjacent to the downhill side of the drive wheel and forms a first nip therebetween and the other pressure roller is positioned adjacent to the uphill side of the drive wheel and forms a second nip therebetween. The escalator handrail is driven by the drive wheel with the assistance of the uphill pressure roller and the downhill pressure roller applying pressure to the handrail as it passes through each of the first and second nips so as to ensure sufficient contact area between the drive wheel and the handrail. There are also at least two guide rollers with at least one positioned adjacent to the downhill side of the drive wheel and at least one positioned adjacent to the uphill side of the drive wheel.
