  • Publication number: 20240176675
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for determining a buffering period based on historical latency in data communication. The method includes a first computing system receiving a first set of data. The first computing system determines a buffering period based at least in part on historical latency in communicating data between the first computing system and a second computing system. The first computing system queues the first set of data with the buffering period for delayed processing of the first set of data. The first computing system receives from the second computing system a second set of data prior to the expiration of the buffering period. The first computing system initiates the processing of the first set of data in view of the second set of data.

  • Patent number: 11640640
Abstract: In one aspect, a share data allocation (SDA) computing device is provided. The SDA computing device includes at least one processor in communication with a database. The at least one processor is configured to receive direct-share participant (DSP) request data indicating an amount each DSP is willing to invest and receive interest-based participant (IBP) request data indicating an amount each IBP is willing to invest. The at least one processor is also configured to apply a first mapping algorithm to the DSP request data and apply a second mapping algorithm to the IBP request data. The at least one processor is further configured to calculate a preliminary allocation of a total amount of assets among the DSPs and the IBPs according to results of an apportionment, and direct allocation of the total amount of assets among the DSPs and the IBPs according to results of a join operator.

  • Publication number: 20200113821
Abstract: Compositions and methods for fetal or in utero delivery of active agents are provided. The compositions are most typically administered intravenously via the vitelline vein, umbilical vein, or directly into the amniotic cavity of a pregnant mother. Growth factors can be delivered to correct structural defects. Gene editing can be carried out utilizing a gene editing composition such as triplex-forming molecules, CRISPR, zinc finger nucleases, TALENS, or others. The methods can include administration of a gene modification potentiating agent such as stem cell factor (SCF), a CHK1 or ATR inhibitor, or a combination thereof. A particularly preferred gene editing composition is triplex-forming peptide nucleic acids (PNAs) substituted at the ? position for increased DNA binding affinity. Polymeric particle compositions for extracellular and intracellular delivery of the active agents are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060259222
Abstract: An electric assisted steering system for a motor driven road vehicle, having assist torque signal generating means which generates an assist torque signal for the steering system in response to the driver's applied torque and sensed vehicle speed to reduce the driver's steering effort. A yaw rate haptic torque is generated which is based upon vehicle rate error and is arranged to be added to the torque assist signal such that, when the yaw rate error builds up corresponding to increasing steering instability (e.g. understeer or oversteer) of the vehicle, the haptic torque added to the torque assist signal reduces the effective road reaction feedback sensed by the driver in advance of any actual vehicle stability loss whereby to allow the driver to correct appropriately in good time before terminal steering instability is reached.

  • Publication number: 20060106516
Abstract: A road vehicle steering system which is adapted to use measurements and estimates characterising the motion of and forces acting on the vehicle and the steering system such as to derive an estimate of steering system disturbance force and to then use the latter estimate to establish a torque demand for the vehicle electronic power steering (EPS) which substantially compensates for this disturbance force.
