  • Publication number: 20230203516
Abstract: Plant cell fate and development is altered by treating cells with cellular reprogramming factors. Embryogenesis inducing morphogenic developmental genes are used as cellular reprogramming factors, specifically comprising polypeptides or polynucleotides encoding gene products for generating doubled haploids or haploid plants from gametes. Maize microspores treated by contacting the isolated cells with an exogenous purified, recombinant embryogenesis inducing morphogenic developmental gene polypeptide results in embryogenesis. The gametes of a maize plant develop into embryoids when transformed with a genetic construct including regulatory elements and structural genes capable of acting in a cascading fashion to alter cellular fate of plant cells. Developmental morphogenic proteins expressed from a genetic construct are used for ex situ treatment methods and for in planta cellular reprogramming.

  • Publication number: 20230188968
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to context-enhanced emergency service. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a victim device can execute a victim emergency application. The victim emergency application can preemptively collect emergency event data associated with a victim of an emergency event before the emergency event occurs. The victim device can communicate the emergency event data towards an emergency network. In response to the emergency event, the victim device can initiate an emergency call directed to the emergency network, and subsequently the emergency call can fail. Since the emergency network has the emergency event data preemptively collected by the victim emergency application, emergency personnel is more likely to be able to help the victim even after the emergency call fails.

  • Patent number: 11627579
Abstract: User equipments (UEs) can be efficiently clustered into groups of UEs where a UE of a group can be selected as a host UE to communicate with a radio access network (RAN) on behalf of other UEs in the group. A resource manager component can receive information, including predictive information of predicted future UE performance or characteristics, relating to respective power availability, signal strength, data performance, and transit vectors of respective UEs from UEs in an area, and determine which UEs are to be clustered in a group and which UE(s) of the group is to be a host UE(s) for the group based on such information. The host UE can facilitate communications between the other UEs in the group and the RAN. The resource manager component also can employ a round-robin technique for substantially equal sharing of duties as host UE among multiple UEs of the group.

  • Patent number: 11622357
Abstract: Adaptive packet scheduling for interference mitigation is disclosed. Current spectral information can be compared to historical spectral information to determine a likelihood of a future interference event. Based on the furfure interference event, a data frame can be adapted to mitigate the effect of the future interference event on wireless communication. The interference event can be related to an unintentional interference source that can have distinct interference characteristics distinguishing it from an intentional interference source. Comparison can be facilitated by a data store storing historical interference information related to one or more historical interference events.
