Abstract: A novel soft luggage type hang-up garment bag that includes two major interior compartments having a width and length substantially equal to the width and length of the bag, and two minor interior compartments each having a width about one-half the width of the bag and a length no greater than about one-half the length of the bag, when the bag is in hang-up configuration. The bag is provided with a single width peripheral gusset wall that interconnects the bag's two major sidewalls so that all the major and minor compartments are interiorly of those sidewalls. The bag also is provided with a novel hang-up hook that is retractable into the bag's interior when the bag is being carried, and that is extendable from an end section of the bag's peripheral gusset wall to hang-up the bag.

Abstract: A hybrid rock bit is disclosed which consists of a pair of cone cutters mounted to legs 120.degree. apart with an extended drag bit leg occupying the remaining 120.degree. segment. Several synthetic diamond stand-off type studs are strategically located and inserted in insert holes formed in the face of the drag bit leg. Nozzles are placed in front of the cutting face of the diamond studs to cool and clean the studs as the bit works in a borehole.

Abstract: A diamond studded insert drag bit is disclosed having a multiplicity of individual diamond insert cutter blanks inserted in the face of the bit. The diamond insert blanks are so positioned to maximize penetration of the bit in a borehole. The bit further includes fluid passages strategically located in the bit face to provide uniform flow, cooling and continuous cleaning of each of the diamond cutter insert blanks. The fluid passages are so sized to cause minimum bit pressure drop. Bits with minimum pressure losses from fluid flow are best suited for positive displacement mud motors that cannot tolerate downstream pressures in excess of 50 to 500 pounds per square inch.

Abstract: A pair of slippers each of which, in preferred form, has one-half of a slide fastener connected around substantially the entire periphery of the slipper's sole. The slide fastener half remains connected to each slipper while the slippers are being worn. To store the slippers, the slippers are oriented in toe-to-toe position, and in upper-to-upper faced relation, the slide fastener halves on the slippers being thereafter jointed to connect the two slippers together. In this storage configuration, the slipper soles constitute the outer side walls of the package.

Abstract: A drill bit having three cone-shaped cutters is formed with two drilling fluid nozzles on opposite sides of one of the cutters and with an enlarged return passage for the drilling fluid being formed between the other two cutters. Flow restrictors adjacent the two nozzles restrict the flow of return fluid in those areas. A flow diverter in the dome area of the bit extends into the space between the cutters to better direct fluid across the bottom of the hole where cuttings are being generated by the cutter teeth.
