  • Patent number: 11931879
Abstract: A power tool is provided including a housing; an electric motor disposed within the housing; a main trigger switch mounted on the housing; a side handle mounted on the housing, the side handle having an auxiliary trigger; and a controller disposed within the housing operable to control a flow of electric current from a power source to the electric motor. The controller activates the motor only if the main trigger and the auxiliary trigger are both actuated. If the one of the triggers is released while the other trigger is still engaged, the controller is configured to continue operating the motor only if the released trigger is reengaged within a time threshold, but otherwise discontinue operating the motor until both the main trigger and the auxiliary triggers are released and reengaged.

  • Patent number: 4992256
Abstract: Dental plaque-disclosing compositions comprising FD&C Red No. 40 which selectively stain plaque formed on tooth surfaces, making plaque easily observable to the naked eye at visible light wave-lengths.

  • Patent number: 4526780
Abstract: A novel stable anhydrous paste or cream composition having superior ultradry characteristics when applied to the skin comprising an antiperspirant or deodorant agent and an oil absorbent material homogeneously dispersed in a vehicle comprising about 25-55% of a volatile silicone and a clay suspending/thickening agent in the form of a gel, preferably a bentonite gel. Additionally preferable ingredients are stability agents to prevent syneresis (oil separation) such as the fatty acid metal salts, more specifically zinc, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, and lithium stearates. Additional thickeners, binders, suspending agents, emollients and nonionic emulsifiers may be added as desired to further enhance the aesthetics of the cream product. The resultant dry-feel cream products spread easily, are not wet, oily or sticky, and vanish almost immediately on rub-in when applied to the skin.

  • Patent number: 4328131
Abstract: An elastic detergent bar of improved elevated temperature stability, so that it better maintains its shape on storage at temperatures somewhat higher than normal, includes an amphoteric synthetic organic detergent in mixture with an anionic synthetic organic detergent, gelatin, water and insoluble gas in very small bubble form distributed throughout the bar. The bars are substantially form-retaining during storage and although they wear away during use, substantially retain their initial forms and elasticities for major proportions of their useful lives. Compared to similar bars in which the insoluble gas, such as air, is not present, the invented bars are stable at higher storage temperatures, e.g., 5.degree. to 10.degree. C. higher, making them commercially much more acceptable.
