  • Patent number: 11614223
Abstract: In a general aspect, an illumination assembly includes an article including a body having a first magnetic element with at least one electrically conductive surface. The illumination assembly also includes a light assembly including a housing, a second magnetic element, a light source, and a power source. A first terminal of the light source is electrically connected with a first terminal of the power source. The light assembly also includes a first electrical contact disposed on the housing and electrically coupled with a second terminal of the light source. The light assembly also includes a second electrical contact disposed on the housing and electrically coupled with a second terminal of the power source. Magnetically coupling the light assembly with the article, via the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element, electrically couples the first electrical contact with the second electrical contact to energize the light source.

  • Patent number: 11540653
Abstract: In a general aspect, a multi-piece vessel can include a body defining an interior volume, and a base. The body can include a closed end, and an open end opposite the closed end. The base can have a foot arranged in a plane. The base can include a stem arranged along a longitudinal axis that is orthogonal to the plane, and a first magnetic element disposed at an end of the stem. The multi-piece vessel can also include an attachment assembly coupled with the closed end of the body, the attachment assembly having a second magnetic element configured to form a magnetic coupling with the first magnetic element, and a retention feature defined on a surface of the attachment assembly distal from the body.

  • Patent number: 8708049
Abstract: Methods and devices for mixing a first fluid with a second fluid downhole include a chamber having a first end, a second end and an opening for fluid to flow there through. A top surface of a perforated piston is capable of contacting the second end and a top surface of a piston is capable of contacting a bottom surface of the perforated piston. The perforated piston is located at a first position within the chamber based upon characteristics of a first fluid. A first fluid delivery system supplies the first fluid and a second fluid delivery system supplies a second fluid to the chamber, wherein the second fluid is at a pressure that moves the piston approximate to the first end. An actuating device applies a force against the bottom surface of the piston to inject the fluids through channels of the perforated piston to produce spray droplets.
