Patent number: 11989182Abstract: A data analysis system for measuring a materiality feature of interest is disclosed. The system includes a computing cluster ingesting content comprising a plurality of observables relevant to an entity, wherein each observable is related to at least one feature of interest. The system further includes an extraction engine running on the computing cluster and tagging the observables with an entity identifier in response to the observables referencing at least one of an entity, a tradename associated with the entity, or product associated with the entity. Additionally, the system includes an analysis engine running on the computing cluster and tagging an observable in response to the feature of interest being related to the observable. In one embedment, the analysis engine measures the materiality of the feature of interest to the entity by counting a number of observables from the plurality of observables tagged with the entity identifier.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2021Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: TruValue Labs, INC.Inventors: Greg Paul Bala, Michael Alfred Flowers, Adam L. Patent number: 9854793Abstract: I disclose here a system of interchangeable surfcasting bags and surfcasting equipment storage units. A variety of storage units are selectively secured to a base bag, waist belt or shoulder strap by a standardized tandem locking means. An upper lock is engaged with a simple twist of even a wet, gloved hand. A lower, secondary, lower lock latches in place and ensures the storage unit remains attached to its base in the harshest conditions. Storage units have male twisting locks and latches. Base bags, waist belts or shoulder straps have corresponding female twisting locks and latches. A distancing tool template is provided to ensure consistent and standard distance between upper and lower lock and latch components on all system pieces at all times.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2015Date of Patent: January 2, 2018Inventor: Frederic James Hawley, Jr.

Publication number: 20090199847Abstract: This invention relates to the collection of sunlight for heat which is used for heating and for the conversion of heat to electricity. Where a large area of land is prepared then covered with a solar collecting film of plastic or glass. The air or water under the film being heated is then circulated around the inside of the collector over a heat exchanger. The solar collector is insulated from the ground it is constructed on and uses stone or water to retain the heat. The retained heat can extended the working time of the collector beyond the time when the sun sets. This heat exchanger carries a working fluid such as Freon that is used to perform work such as spinning an electric generator.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 11, 2008Publication date: August 13, 2009Inventor: James Hawley

Publication number: 20080257499Abstract: An ergonomic dispenser of a roll of adhesive film facilitates application of that film to a surface with minimum manipulation by the user. The dispenser has a low profile where the cutting blade, axis of rotation of the adhesive film roll and dispenser handle lie in closely aligned planes. This creates a low profile dispenser which places the roll of adhesive film in close proximity to the application surface. A flexible shield overlies the cutting blade to prevent unwanted user contact with the blade. Various means are used to manage the loose end of film after it is cut off the roll so that it does not adhere to the roll or double over on itself. Unidirectional movement of the roll is also used to manage the loose end of tape after cutoff. Optionally, blade means may be added to the dispenser's handle for use in opening cartons, cutting string or the like.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2007Publication date: October 23, 2008Inventors: Thomas Wojtkun, Dominic Daunter, David Thimm, Curt Bailey, James Hawley, Brian Vulpitta

Publication number: 20070235494Abstract: A tape dispenser has a tubular hub for receiving a roll of tape, and the hub has an axis and axially spaced first and second ends. A first wall extends radially outwardly of the hub at the first end, and a second wall is radially spaced from the hub and extends axially from the first wall the direction toward the second end of said hub. The hub includes a portion extending axially outwardly of the outer end of the second wall, and the first end and the latter portion of the hub are contoured for the first end of one tape dispenser to axially receive the portion of the hub of a second tape dispenser to interengage the two dispensers.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2006Publication date: October 11, 2007Applicant: Henkel Consumer Adhesives, Inc.Inventors: Kenneth Foran, Stephen Casteel, James Hawley, Brian Vulpitta, Kristen Chupa, Vanessa Ortiz, Suzanne VanDenbossche

Publication number: 20070067735Abstract: A graphical user interface includes a main screen adapted to display a graphical output from a processor and data input fields adapted to receive data. The graphical user interface also includes at least one expandable tile, the expandable tile having a closed state and an open state. The expandable tile causes display data and data input fields obscured by the expandable tile in the closed state to be revealed to a user when the expandable tile is placed in its open state.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 15, 2006Publication date: March 22, 2007Inventors: Keith Hawley, James Hawley, Colleen Tiner, Wendy Flask, Linda Corrao, Matthias Liebgott, Kevin McDonald, Adrienne Moore, Dana Giovenco, Patrick Flaherty, Weston Burk

Publication number: 20060169709Abstract: A new and improved adhesive tape dispenser is adapted to dispense tape wound upon a tape core and includes a frame, an application roller, a cutter assembly, and handle mounted on the frame. The adhesive tape dispenser includes a core support assembly secured to the frame and having a first axis. The core support assembly comprises a shaft secured to the frame, and an axle assembly disposed about at least a portion of the shaft. A spindle adapted to support the tape core is rotatably mounted on the axle assembly. The axle assembly includes a hub having an outer surface with a second axis adjacent the first axis, at least one flange extending radially from the hub, and a cam rotatably mounted on the hub. The spindle freely rotates in a first direction. Wherein rotation of the spindle in a second direction rotates the cam about the second axis in the second direction whereby the cam engages the spindle preventing further rotation of the spindle in the second direction about the axle assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 5, 2006Publication date: August 3, 2006Inventors: Curt Bailey, Kristen Chupa, Dominic Daunter, Noah Dingler, James Hawley, Michael Lean, Scott Sommers

Publication number: 20020019936Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for enforcing file access control among client devices using multiple diverse access control models and multiple diverse file server protocols. A multi-protocol file server identifies each file with one particular access control model out of a plurality of possible models, and enforces that one particular model for all accesses to that file. When the file server receives a file server request for that file using a different access control model, the file server translates the access control limits for that file into no-less-restrictive limits in the different model. The file server restricts access by the client device using the translated access control limits. Each file is assigned the access control model of the user who created the file or who last set access control limits for the file. When a user having a different access control model sets access control limits, the access control model for the file is changed to the new model.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 10, 2001Publication date: February 14, 2002Inventors: David Hitz, Andrea Borr, Robert James Hawley, Mark Muhlestein, Joan Pearson
