  • Publication number: 20060290525
Abstract: A gas sensor module is coupled to a medical gas system in a healthcare facility to monitor gas type and/or gas flow. In some embodiments, the gas sensor module is coupled to a gas pipe of the medical gas system behind a wall, ceiling, floor, access panel, or the like and transmits an alarm signal to an alarm controller located elsewhere in the healthcare facility. In other embodiments, the gas sensor module plugs into a service outlet of the medical gas system. Also disclosed is a combination service outlet and gas sensor module. A main gas alarm module may communicate with one or more remote gas alarm modules.

  • Publication number: 20050275548
Abstract: A medical gas alarm system for use in a healthcare facility having a medical gas system and having a network of computer devices is provided. The alarm system includes at least one area alarm controller adapted to receive a first signal indicative of a condition of a first portion of the medical gas system. The area alarm controller is adapted to communicate with the network. The alarm system also includes at least one master alarm controller adapted to receive a second signal indicative of a condition of a second portion of the medical gas system. The master alarm controller is adapted to communicate with the network. The area alarm controller is adapted to communicate with the master alarm controller through the network.

  • Patent number: 5685288
Abstract: A branding iron stove comprises a body having an upright longitudinal extent so as to provide an elongated upright heating compartment closed by upper and lower ends. The body has an elongated upright opening therethrough for providing access to the heating compartment. A first branding iron support is attached to the body and provides a first plurality of vertically spaced-apart locations for receiving and holding a plurality of branding iron rods, the first plurality of spaced-apart locations being disposed outwardly away from the body. A second branding iron support is attached to the body and provides a second plurality of spaced-apart locations disposed adjacent to the opening for receiving and holding a plurality of branding iron rods. The first and second spaced-apart locations are cooperatively constructed and arranged to receive and hold the plurality of branding irons in a vertical array of generally horizontal positions.
