  • Patent number: 10947589
Abstract: A method for obtaining from genomic material genomic copy number information unaffected by amplification distortion, comprising obtaining segments of the genomic material, tagging the segments with substantially unique tags to generate tagged nucleic acid molecules, such that each tagged nucleic acid molecule comprises one segment of the genomic material and a tag, subjecting the tagged nucleic acid molecules to amplification by polymerase chain reaction (PCR), generating tag associated sequence reads by sequencing the product of the PCR reaction, assigning each tagged nucleic acid molecule to a location on a genome associated with the genomic material by mapping the subsequence of each tag associated sequence read corresponding to a segment of the genomic material to a location on the genome, and counting the number of tagged nucleic acid molecules having a different tag that have been assigned to the same location on the genome, thereby obtaining genomic copy number information unaffected by amplification d

  • Publication number: 20200375150
Abstract: This invention relates in general to a confining and restraining apparatus for livestock to facilitate their handling. The apparatus has an animal receiving stall having a frame, a base and a means for rotatably mounting the frame on the base. The animal receiving stall has opposed, entrance and exit openings, an entrance gate assembly is located at the entrance opening and fixed to one end of the base. The exit gate assembly is located at the exit opening and attached at one end of the frame, the exit gate assembly having a pair of stanchions which are adapted to capture a neck of an animal therebetween. The means for rotatably mounting the frame to the base allows rotation of the frame in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions around a vertical axis to position an animal in a selected treatment position.

  • Publication number: 20190255782
Abstract: A method for installing a sensor onto an inner surface of a tire is generally disclosed. The method includes robotically deglazing at least a portion of the inner surface of the tire, defining a preconditioned surface. The sensor is robotically selected and a target surface of the sensor is cleaned. An adhesive is applied to at least a portion of the target surface of the sensor. In some embodiments, the adhesive is applied to a portion of the preconditioned surface. The sensor is robotically positioned, wherein the target surface of the sensor abuts the preconditioned surface. A wet-out operation is performed, wherein a predetermined pressure is applied to the sensor for a predetermined period of time to affix the sensor to the preconditioned surface.

  • Publication number: 20190228405
Abstract: A method includes receiving a request for enrollment from a user at a wallet service provider (WSP) computer, and enrolling the user in the WSP computer. A message is transmitted to the user to query the user about accepting payment card account system transactions. A response to the message, from the user, is received in the WSP computer. The WSP computer downloads, to a device operated by the user, a list of acquirer financial institutions. The WSP computer receives, from the device operated by the user, an indication that the user has selected one of the acquirer financial institutions from the list. An application program supplied by the selected acquirer financial institution is downloaded to the device operated by the user.
