  • Patent number: 11888851
Abstract: A server transmits to a third-party application a request for a resource that is received from a client. The server receives an authentication request from the client device that has been generated by the third-party application. The server transmits an identity provider selection page to the client device that allows the client device to select an identity provider. The server causes the client device to transmit a second authentication request to a selected identity provider. The server receives an authentication response that was generated by the identity provider that includes the identity of the user. The server enforces access rule(s) including identity-based rule(s) and/or non-identity based rule(s). If the user is permitted to access the third-party application, the server causes an authentication response to be transmitted from the client device to the third-party application that indicates the user has successfully authenticated.

  • Patent number: 11863436
Abstract: A primary internet connection via a gateway or router located at a premises may be used to route internet traffic from devices located at the premises. A change in the primary internet connection, such as a loss or a degradation of the connection, may occur. Based on the change in the primary internet connection, metrics of alternative internet connections, such as cellular or hotspot connections, may be used to select one of the alternative internet connections. Internet traffic may be routed via the selected alternative internet connection until the primary internet connection is reestablished or improves.

  • Publication number: 20230409695
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining authenticity of a security device of a component in an imaging device includes receiving, by the security device, an authentication challenge including one or more commands and executing, by the security device, the one or more commands in response to receiving the authentication challenge. A magnetic field profile is generated based on current drawn by the security device from a power source while the security device is executing the one or more commands, the generated magnetic field profile indicating an authentication response of the security device to the authentication challenge for use in determining authenticity of the security device.

  • Publication number: 20230412644
Abstract: A cloud-based security service that includes external evaluation for accessing a third-party application. The security service receives a request to access a third-party application from a client device. The security service enforces a set of one or more access policies configured for the third-party application including an external evaluation rule. As part of enforcing the external evaluation rule, the security service transmits an external evaluation request to an external endpoint defined in the external evaluation rule. The external evaluation request includes an identity of a user associated with the request. The security service receives the result of the external evaluation. If the external evaluation passed, the security service grants access to the third-party application based at least in part on its passing.

  • Publication number: 20230367863
Abstract: A method of determining authenticity of a component in an imaging device includes generating an analog signal as an authentication challenge to the component. The method further includes generating, by the component, a response to the authentication challenge by converting the analog signal into one or more digital values and capturing a derivative of the one or more digital values as the response. Authenticity of the component is determined by comparing the response with an expected response.

  • Publication number: 20230344370
Abstract: The present invention offers methods for generating electromagnetic force-fields. The methods utilize a vortex of rapidly rotating discrete matter that may self-generate electromagnetic field and magnetic compression in the Z-axis of the vortex to create an induced electromagnetic force-field in the eye region of the vortex. The induced electromagnetic force-field acts substantially orthogonally outward from ?-plane of the vortex and substantially parallel to the Z-axis of the vortex, and may be harnessed as useful force for engines, motors, rockets, turbines, and/or other applications where power, pressure, propulsion, energy, and/or force are needed. Certain embodiments may also achieve nuclear fusion within the vortex that may be utilized to help power the methods of the present invention and/or be utilized for additional applications where energy is needed.

  • Publication number: 20230336799
Abstract: In various examples, network conditions associated with a video stream are observed over time to determine a virtual scaling factor that may be applied to the images of one or more frames of the video stream to generate scaled images that may be appended with a padding region that maintains the original resolution of the video and/or video stream such that a receiving device may crop the padding region from the received video stream during the decoding process without restarting or including additional intra-coded frames.

  • Publication number: 20230328302
Abstract: A performance metrics of a receiver is obtained using frames of an application hosted by a server that are received via a network. The one or more performance metrics include information indicative of a current occupancy of a frame buffer corresponding to the receiver and information indicative of a target occupancy of the frame buffer corresponding to the receiver. The frame buffer of the receiver is used to queue frames of the application for display. A frame rate associated with rendering at least one next frame of the application is adjusted using the one or more performance metrics of the receiver to control population of the frame buffer. Subsequent frames of the application hosted by the server are rendered using the adjusted frame rate. Upon rendering the subsequent frames, the server sends the subsequent frames to the receiver for display.

  • Publication number: 20230315899
Abstract: Techniques for generating synthetic data are described. An exemplary approach includes receiving one or more requests to generate synthetic data based on a first dataset; generating the synthetic dataset is generated according to the request by choosing a set of synthetic datapoints between pairs of datapoints of the first dataset along a line connecting them while sampling a likely value of a local probability distribution; and providing the synthetic dataset as configured by the request.

  • Publication number: 20230281850
Abstract: A self-contained, low-cost, low-weight guidance system for vehicles is provided. The guidance system can include an optical camera, a case, a processor, a connection between the processor and an on-board control system, and computer algorithms running on the processor. The guidance system can be integrated with a vehicle control system through “plug and play” functionality or a more open Software Development Kit. The computer algorithms re-create 3D structures as the vehicle travels and continuously updates a 3D model of the environment. The guidance system continuously identifies and tracks terrain, static objects, and dynamic objects through real-time camera images. The guidance system can receive inputs from the camera and the onboard control system. The guidance system can be used to assist vehicle navigation and to avoid possible collisions. The guidance system can communicate with the control system and provide navigational direction to the control system.

  • Publication number: 20230252167
Abstract: A method for determining authenticity of a component in an imaging device is disclosed. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for a method for a device to use an electronic authentication scheme to authenticate a second device while overcoming vulnerabilities associated with sending data over a communication bus when performing authentication, by using information other than that transmitted over the shared bus as authentication parameters. Embodiments utilize the current drawn by a chip from a power source when the chip performs an operation in response to a command as an authentication parameter.
