Abstract: A disposal container comprising a generally rectangular body portion defining a receptacle with an open top bounded by a rim, and a lid member which is slidably and engagingly mounted over the top of the rim of the container body. The lid member is secured to the container body using a tamper evidencing locking strips. The lid member has a convex raised top surface with a centrally located upwardly projecting cylindrical neck region defining a generally circular aperture. The aperture is selectively sealed by a plastic plug having a concave, recessed interior. The lid member has an pivotably mounted carrying handle, and the entire disposal container may be seated within a mounting bracket which is attached to a wall or vehicle.
