    Abstract: A hose sprayer assembly in accordance with the present invention includes a trigger body which is rotatably mounted within a housing. The housing is formed with an inlet orifice, an outlet aperture and an aspiration orifice, and further includes a deflector plate which is fixed to the outer surface of the housing proximate the outlet aperture. The trigger body includes a inlet port, an outlet port in fluid communication with the inlet port, and an aspiration port in fluid communication with the outlet port. Selective alignment of the trigger body places the inlet port and outlet port in fluid communication with the respective inlet orifice and outlet aperture of the housing. This yields a water only stream out the housing outlet aperture when water is forced through the assembly. Similarly, the body can be aligned to place the aspiration port in fluid communication with the aspiration orifice of the housing.

    Abstract: An improved spraying device for mixing a first fluid with a second fluid prior to dispensing into the environment. The spraying device includes a spraying head connected to a cartridge bottle. A shroud covers the spraying head to cartridge bottle connection. The chemical remains in a closed system even after the cartridge bottle is attached to the spraying head. A unique gear and/or cam system is provided to open the flow path of the second fluid and provide a positive operation. Also, the orifice diameter of the second fluid flow path is predetermined.

    Abstract: A spraying apparatus having a sprayer head and an interchangeable cartridge that can dilute and dispense a chemical is disclosed. A first fluid entering the sprayer head mixes with a second fluid that is drawn from the cartridge by aspiration to dilute the second fluid and the mixture is dispensed. The cartridge has an upper cap plate and a cap lid that rotate or slide with respect to each other, to allow easy installation and use, and safe storage of the cartridge for subsequent use. A rotatable valve can permit filling of the cartridge to a pre-selected degree of dilution.

    Abstract: A spraying device having a sprayer head and an interchangeable, disposable, recyclable and/or biodegradable, and attachable cartridge, capable of diluting and dispensing a chemical. The device has a rotatable barrel valve to select whether to fill the cartridge, spray the diluted chemical, or prevent any flow. The device further has a pair of coupling tubes which permit the easy connection of the sprayer head to the cartridge in a way to cause, by aspiration, the partially diluted chemical to enter the sprayer head for further mixing and discharge. A rupturable or replaceable membrane is placed across the top of the cartridge to contain the concentrated chemical prior to use. A plug closure permits the addition of a chemical to the cartridge.
