  • Patent number: 11982223
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a turbocharger. In one example, a method includes adjusting one or more of a wastegate position and a position of vanes with operation of a turbocharger to reach a desired turbocharger speed via a controller. The method further includes adjusting engine operating parameters to reach the desired turbocharger speed.

  • Patent number: 11608767
Abstract: A sensor table mounting system includes an insulating blanket assembly and a senor table. The insulating blanket assembly is configured to surround an external housing surface of an exhaust aftertreatment component housing. The insulating blanket assembly includes an inner blanket surface, an outer blanket surface, and a first restraint. The outer blanket surface is opposite the inner blanket surface. The first restraint includes a first restraint first end that is fixed to the outer blanket surface. The sensor table includes a platform, a first standoff, a second standoff, a first footing, and a second footing. The first footing is offset from the platform by the first standoff and configured to be coupled to the first restraint. The second footing is offset from the platform by the second standoff and configured to be coupled to the first restraint.

  • Patent number: 9816421
Abstract: An exhaust elbow includes an upstream sidewall defining an upstream portion of the exhaust elbow, a downstream sidewall defining a downstream portion of the exhaust elbow, and a deflector. The upstream portion is configured to receive an upstream exhaust gas. The deflector is coupled to the upstream sidewall of the exhaust elbow upstream and is configured to deflect a portion of the upstream exhaust gas received by the upstream portion of the exhaust elbow away from a region of an interior of the exhaust elbow into which an injected reductant from a dosing module is injected. The deflector may reduce and/or prevent formation of reductant deposits on a downstream sidewall. In some implementations, an exhaust assisted flow separator may also be included to direct a portion of the upstream exhaust gas received by the upstream portion of the exhaust elbow through a dosing opening.

  • Patent number: 9482135
Abstract: A diesel oxidation catalyst component may include an inlet, an outlet, and a catalyst chamber body in fluid communication with the inlet and the outlet. An angled jacking bolt assembly is configured to secure a diesel oxidation catalyst within a catalyst chamber defined by the catalyst chamber body. In some implementations, a spacing component or a second diesel oxidation catalyst may be included and secured by the angled jacking bolt assembly. The catalyst chamber body may include an access panel assembly that includes an access panel and securing bolts. The access panel assembly may substantially fluidly seal an opening defined by a mount of the catalyst chamber body when the access panel is secured to the mount by the plurality of securing bolts. The opening may be sized to permit removal of the diesel oxidation catalyst from within the catalyst chamber.
