  • Publication number: 20160101842
Abstract: Liquid fuels are routinely used to provide energy for many different uses. Transferring and distributing liquid fuels have many challenges including providing safe and reliable transfers and distributions. Liquid fuels, for example, Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) may be transferred from a vessel at a relatively low flow rate. This system allows for leaks to be captured and contained to an area of a water based transfer platform rather than allowing the spill to spread out on the surface of the water.

  • Patent number: 4520941
Abstract: A molded plastic crate for transporting and storing five-gallon water bottles having differing external configurations has the general form of an open-ended square box with reinforced internal corner struts nested within each of the four box corners adjacent a centrally apertured box bottom. Exterior midsection portions of the crate side walls adjacent the upstanding box corners are recessed to accommodate hand-truck pickup when the crate is lying on its side. A set of opposed aligned wide handle openings are provided in each pair of opposed crate side walls with one set being located at a different height above the box bottom than the other set. A separate retaining bar which projects into the crate interior near the perimeter of the box open end to restrain a bottle against unintentional slippage from the crate may be retained in place by a steel ring encircling the perimeter of the box open end.

  • Patent number: 4349121
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a case with a rotatable and readily removable cover. The unitary flexible cover is provided with hinge members adapted to cooperate with corresponding slots in an upstanding wall of the case upon manual flexing of the cover. Upon release of the cover, the cover returns to its normally flat posture, locking the cover in place through means of tabs. A preferred embodiment comprises a plastic beer case.
