  • Publication number: 20240132835
Abstract: Materials and methods to control a nutrient feed in a cell culture process is provided. A sample is received from a bioreactor comprising a cell culture. A viable cell density and a residual nutrient measurement are determined from the received sample. A daily nutrient feeding target is calculated based on the viable cell density and the residual nutrient measurement. The nutrient is fed to the bioreactor according to the calculated daily nutrient feeding target.

  • Patent number: 11947457
Abstract: A scalable cache coherency protocol for system including a plurality of coherent agents coupled to one or more memory controllers is described. The memory controller may implement a precise directory for cache blocks from the memory to which the memory controller is coupled. Multiple requests to a cache block may be outstanding, and snoops and completions for requests may include an expected cache state at the receiving agent, as indicated by a directory in the memory controller when the request was processed, to allow the receiving agent to detect race conditions. In an embodiment, the cache states may include a primary shared and a secondary shared state. The primary shared state may apply to a coherent agent that bears responsibility for transmitting a copy of the cache block to a requesting agent. In an embodiment, at least two types of snoops may be supported: snoop forward and snoop back.

  • Publication number: 20160225115
Abstract: The invention crowdsources and coordinates the operation of residential, commercial or industrial warehouses as well as vehicles for the purpose of transporting parcels. The invention also coordinates these crowdsourced facilities with non-crowdsourced warehouses and vehicles. The invention also includes an Internet marketplace that may operate as an auction, for exchanging payments for transportation and storage services rendered. Participants use communication devices to enter their daily and hourly availability into a database operated by a Cloud-hosted app. This app assigns drivers and warehouses, proposes routes, estimates pick-up and drop-off times, tracks vehicles, issue a transaction notice before an impending pick-up or drop-off, verifies the validity of each transaction and updates the custody data assigned to each parcel after an exchange.

  • Publication number: 20060152504
Abstract: A method of modifying through an interface operated by at least one user, as a function of an input data stream not interactively generated by said user, information originating from a search engine operating on a data source defined as a database or a data net. This method comprises the steps of: a) analyzing said input stream thereby generating search commands and rendering factors, b) searching said data source by applying said search commands to said search engine of said data source, c) retrieving data source search results generated by said search engine, d) rendering said search results according to said rendering factors thereby producing rendered search results, and e) sending said rendered search results to at least one video monitor thereby presenting said rendered search results to an audience.

  • Publication number: 20050267826
Abstract: A telepresence system comprising a workstation which allows a user to specify a venue located at a remote site. The workstation accepts control information from, and conveys sensory information to, the user. The telepresence system also comprises several remotely controlled systems at remote locations, which carry sensors collecting sensory information from their environment. Each remotely controlled system also requires human assistance to operate according to control information sent by the user. The telepresence system also comprises a means for allocating one of the remotely controlled systems to the specified venue. The telepresence system also comprises a means for allocating a human assistant to assist the allocated remote system.
