  • Patent number: 11976287
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of recombinant fatty acid synthesis, particularly in transgenic plants. The application describes genes involved in fatty acid synthesis and provides methods and vectors for the manipulation of fatty acid composition of plant oils. In particular, the invention provides constructs for achieving the integration of multiple heterologous genes involved in fatty acid synthesis into the plant genome, such that the resulting plants produce altered levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Also described are methods for enhancing the expression of fatty acid biosynthesis enzymes by co-expressing a silencing suppressor within the plant storage organ.

  • Publication number: 20240139448
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed related to determining whether there is a proper fit between a user interface and a face of a user. The methods and systems involve generating seal information associated with a seal region between a face of a user and a current user interface donned on the face of the user. The methods and systems are further related to analyzing the seal information to determine whether a leak exists in the seal region. If the leak exists, the systems and methods include analyzing the seal information to determine a location of the leak within the seal region. The systems and methods further include determining a new user interface to replace the current user interface based on the current user interface and the location of the leak.

  • Patent number: 11971386
Abstract: A monitoring system detects and measures a quantity of radical particles within a gas. A test chamber is coupled to a flow channel that transmits a gas. The test chamber defines an aperture connecting the test chamber and the flow channel, and the aperture permits a subset of the gas to enter the test chamber from the flow channel. An ionizer is positioned within the test chamber and generates radical ions from radical particles of the subset of the gas. A mass spectrometer measures a quantity of the radical ions, thereby providing a measurement of the radical particles in the gas.

  • Patent number: 11971782
Abstract: Systems and methods for a controller including controller memory and logic are presented herein. The logic is configured to control access to a persistent storage media and, in response to one or more commands, the logic determines an intermediate parity value based on a first parity calculation, and using the intermediate parity value determines a final parity value based on the intermediate parity value and a second parity calculation. Determining the intermediate parity value includes sending a uni-directional command to read an old data value from an address indicated in the uni-directional command, perform an exclusive-or operation on the old data value and a new data value indicated in the uni-directional command to determine the intermediate parity value and store, in the persistent storage media, the intermediate parity value at a location associated to an index indicated in the uni-directional command.

  • Patent number: 11972217
Abstract: System and method for displaying a user interface of an evaluation system configured to evaluate predicted answers generated by a machine learning system. For example, the method includes receiving textual data and a predicted answer to a question associated with a text object. The text object includes a structured data field of the textual data. The predicted answer includes a confidence level. The confidence level is determined by a machine learning system. In response to determining the confidence level being larger than or equal to a predetermined confidence threshold, the predicted answer and a reference is stored in a storage for retrieval and display. The reference indicates a location of the text object in the textual data. In response to determining the confidence level being smaller than the predetermined confidence threshold, the question and the text object associated with the question is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20240132909
Abstract: Compositions and methods for controlling pests are provided. The methods involve transforming organisms with a nucleic acid sequence encoding an insecticidal protein. In particular, the nucleic acid sequences are useful for preparing plants and microorganisms that possess insecticidal activity. Thus, transformed bacteria, plants, plant cells, plant tissues and seeds are provided. Compositions are insecticidal nucleic acids and proteins of bacterial species. The sequences find use in the construction of expression vectors for subsequent transformation into organisms of interest including plants, as probes for the isolation of other homologous (or partially homologous) genes. The pesticidal proteins find use in controlling, inhibiting growth or killing Lepidopteran, Coleopteran, Dipteran, fungal, Hemipteran and nematode pest populations and for producing compositions with insecticidal activity.

Abstract: JSON Duality Views are object views that return JDV objects. JDV objects are virtual because they are not stored in a database as JSON objects. Rather, JDV objects are stored in shredded form across tables and table attributes (e.g. columns) and returned by a DBMS in response to database commands that request a JDV object from a JSON Duality View. Through JSON Duality Views, changes to the state of a JDV object may be specified at the level of a JDV object. JDV objects are updated in a database using optimistic lock.
