Abstract: A system and method of controlling a computer network to obtain information needed to render risk evaluative decisions from vendors in real time. The information may be obtained for agents preparing insurance applications or for an automated application processing system. Agents or automated application processing systems require access to an external vendor to obtain information about a customer, such as car accident or credit records. The request for data must be formatted to be read by the vendor system, which sends the responding data in real time. This responding data is forwarded to the requesting party for further processing of the application.

Abstract: A method of controlling a computer network to render information needs and risk evaluative decisions includes the matching of profiles, defined by data characteristics and collective characteristics, to customer data. Multiple profiles are matched to arrive at a consensus decision, in addition to providing a rationale and summary analysis of the decision. Advice profiles provide advice, when matched, regarding customer data.

Abstract: An ion exchange membrane reinforced with leno weave yarn system having sacrificial fibers paired with resistant fibers in the warp of the fabric, and an electrolysis process using the membrane are disclosed.

Abstract: Formable twistless woven precursor fabrics, especially in satin or basket weave, made from warp and weft flat tape of fiber reinforced thermoplastics on a power driven loom. The weft tape is supplied in a twistless manner from a rotatable package that is driven in synchronism with the feeding mechanism and a finite tension on the tape is maintained so that a line drawn parallel to the surface of and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of each of the warp and weft tapes is in the plane of the fabric throughout the fabric. The warp and weft tapes have edges that abut substantially throughout the fabric.
