  • Patent number: 6145714
Abstract: A threading needle threads the eye of the needle with relative ease and has the threader as an integral part of the device. The threading needle has a relatively rigid needle post and a relatively flexible eye that is attached to the needle post proximate the post's pointed end. The eye is bent sidewardly to form a gap between the needle post and the eye in order to allow a thread to be positioned therebetween. The eye is then bent to the other side causing the needle post to push the thread through the eye. The eye is returned to its normal position and the device is ready for use.

  • Patent number: 5685175
Abstract: A thread positioner comprises a guide loop, having a finger grip, that is insertable through one or more stitches of a needlework project. A thread grabber is insertable through the guide loop and grabs a loose thread and is thereafter withdrawn, positioning the loose thread within the guide loop. The guide loop is withdrawn from the stitches positioning the loose thread therewithin.

  • Patent number: 5588568
Abstract: An eyelet threader is disclosed. The device comprises a resilient loop in conjunction with a guide means. The guide means is used in order to help pass the resilient loop through the eye of a needle. Once so passed, the resilient loop is slightly depressed in order to form a bulbed end. Thread is passed through the bulbed end and the needle withdrawn from the resilient loop thereby threading the needle.
