  • Publication number: 20230376963
Abstract: In an embodiment, systems and methods for reviewing payments using artificial intelligence are provided. Training data is collected that includes payments made by insurance payors for claims received from medical providers. The payments may have been verified as correct and include metadata about the associated claim such as the medical service and whether the claim was in or out of network. The training data is used to train a model that predicts a payment amount for a claim from a medical provider for an insurance payor. When a payment is received, the model is used to predict the payment amount for the payment. The predicted amount is compared with the actual payment amount and is used to determine if the payment is anomalous. If the payment is anomalous, it is provided to an auditor who checks the payment for compliance with a contract between the payor and the provider.

  • Publication number: 20230210415
Abstract: Embodiments described herein include a device and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The device includes one or more processors, an analyte sensor, a communication module, and memories. The processors are configured to generate analyte data indicative of a monitored analyte level measured by the analyte sensor corresponding to a first time, generate analyte data indicative of the monitored analyte level measured by the analyte sensor corresponding to a second time, calculate a correction parameter based on the analyte data corresponding to the analyte data corresponding to the first time and analyte data corresponding to the second time, and perform a lag correction to obtain the monitored analyte level using at least the calculated correction parameter. The calculated correction parameter comprises a lag time determined from the analyte data. The performed lag correction comprises a linear correction model based on the calculated correction parameter.

  • Publication number: 20150147109
Abstract: A security system for securing a device by rotatably joining the device with a first object. The device may be protected from damage, yet still accessible while joined with the first object. The device includes electronic devices that function while joined with the first object. The device includes a device connection portion. The first object includes an object connection portion that joins with the device connection portion, often through a snapping mechanism. The device connection portion is circular to enable 360 degrees of rotation. A supporting body supports the device connection portion and includes a track for laterally carrying the device. A security portion, such as a band, joins the device to an object, such as a Forearm. A hook and a receiver on the security portion fasten the security portion around the object. A casing enables the first object to connect to the device.

  • Publication number: 20070271630
Abstract: The present invention is directed to controlling plant pest infestation, and particularly plant nematode infestation, by inhibiting one or more biological functions in the plant pest. The invention discloses methods and compositions for use in controlling plant pest infestation by providing one or more different recombinant double stranded RNA molecules in the diet of the pest in order to achieve a reduction in pest infestation through suppression of pest gene expression. The invention is also directed to methods for making transgenic plants that express the double stranded RNA molecules, to methods for detecting cells comprising the disclosed sequences, and to methods for detecting the disclosed sequences in biological samples.

  • Publication number: 20070250947
Abstract: The invention relates to identifying and evaluating target coding sequences for control of plant parasitic nematodes by inhibiting one or more biological functions, and their use. The invention provides methods and compositions for identification of such sequences and for the control of a plant-parasitic nematode population. By feeding one or more recombinant double stranded RNA molecules provided by the invention to the nematode, a reduction in disease may be obtained through suppression of nematode gene expression. The invention is also directed to methods for making transgenic plants that express the double stranded RNA molecules, and the plant cells and plants obtained thereby.
