  • Patent number: 11927791
Abstract: A backlight includes a substrate, a plurality of light sources proximate the substrate, a first reflective layer on the substrate, and a plurality of patterned reflectors over the plurality of light sources. Each light source includes a size measured in a plane parallel to the substrate. Each patterned reflector is aligned with a corresponding light source and includes a thickness profile. The thickness profile includes a substantially flat section and a curved section extending from and surrounding the substantially flat section. The substantially flat section varies in thickness by no more than plus or minus 20 percent of an average thickness of the substantially flat section. The substantially flat section includes a size in a plane parallel to the substrate equal to or greater than the size of each light source.

  • Publication number: 20240077071
Abstract: A system can include one or more processors; memory; a data interface that receives data; a control interface that transmits control signals for control of pumps of a hydraulic fracturing operation; and one or more components that can include one or more of a modeling component that predicts pressure in a well fluidly coupled to at least one of the pumps, a pumping rate adjustment component that generates a pumping rate control signal for transmission via the control interface, a capacity component that estimates a real-time pumping capacity for each individual pump, and a control component that, for a target pumping rate for the pumps during the hydraulic fracturing operation, generates at least one of engine throttle and transmission gear settings for each of the individual pumps using an estimated real-time pumping capacity for each individual pump where the settings are transmissible via the control interface.

  • Patent number: 6952770
Abstract: A method and apparatus for enabling hardware platform identification while ensuring privacy protection. The apparatus comprises a computer-readable medium that stores computer-executable instructions. Those instructions, when executed by a microprocessor, cause an expected hash value, which is derived from a key and a first identifier for a computer system; to be compared with a hash value, which is derived from the key and a second identifier for a computer system. A microprocessor for executing those instructions may comprise an identifier that identifies the microprocessor, and embedded instructions for comparing a hash value, derived from the identifier and a key, to an expected hash value.

  • Publication number: 20030131115
Abstract: A system and method for controlling access to an object. The system stores an object and a processor identifier. The system includes a verification agent that can access information embedded in a processor and then calculate from that embedded information a value that may be compared with the stored processor identifier. A comparison agent is used to compare that value with the processor identifier to determine whether the processor corresponds to the processor identifier. If the value that the verification agent returns matches the processor identifier, then the computer grants the user access to the object.
