  • Patent number: 12001725
Abstract: A combined on-package and off-package memory system uses a custom base-layer within which are fabricated one or more dedicated interfaces to off-package memories. An on-package processor and on-package memories are also directly coupled to the custom base-layer. The custom base-layer includes memory management logic between the processor and memories (both off and on package) to steer requests. The memories are exposed as a combined memory space having greater bandwidth and capacity compared with either the off-package memories or the on-package memories alone. The memory management logic services requests while maintaining quality of service (QoS) to satisfy bandwidth requirements for each allocation. An allocation may include any combination of the on and/or off package memories. The memory management logic also manages data migration between the on and off package memories.

  • Patent number: 12001508
Abstract: A plurality of chiplets may be used to multiply two matrices A and B. Matrix A may be decomposed into horizontal stripes and matrix B may be decomposed into vertical stripes. Each of the horizontal stripes may be multiplied by each of the vertical stripes to form the output matrix C. Specifically, horizontal stripes may be stored in a stationary, distributed manner across the chiplets, while the vertical stripes (or sub-vertical stripes) may be passed between respective pairs of the chiplets until each of the vertical stripes (or sub-vertical stripes) of matrix B has been received and processed by each of the chiplets. The vertical stripes may be passed along one or more paths that interconnect the chiplets. Similar techniques can be applied to an arrangement in which the vertical stripes are stationary and the horizontal stripes (or sub-horizontal stripes) are passed between respective pairs of the chiplets.

  • Patent number: 12000940
Abstract: A management server in communication with one or more object tracking devices is disclosed. The management server may receive location information, configuration information, and orientation information associated with the one or more object tracking devices. Based at least in part on the location information, the management server may receive weather information associated with the locations of the one or more object tracking devices. Based at least in part on the location information, the weather information, the configuration information, and the orientation information, the management server can determine power generated and power consumed by the one or more object tracking devices, which then can be used to determine estimated operation time for the one or more object tracking devices.

  • Patent number: 11993471
Abstract: A raising assembly for use with a gangway connected for rotation between a raised stowed position and a lowered deployed position. The raising assembly comprises at least one fluid actuated cylinder connected to the gangway. A raising actuator is operative to cause operation of the cylinder in a manner that rotates the gangway toward the stowed position while the raising actuator is continuously activated by an operator. A lowering actuator is operative to cause operation of the cylinder in a manner that rotates the gangway toward the deployed position due to gravitational forces while the lowering actuator is continuously activated by the operator. The raising assembly is configured to maintain the gangway at a current position between the stowed position and the deployed position if the operator does one of ceasing to activate the raising actuator while raising the gangway or ceasing to activate the lowering actuator while lowering the gangway.

Abstract: A controlled extraction of an electronic connector from an electronic circuit board includes a press mechanism of a device positioned in spaced relation over a base fixture of the device. The base fixture receiving an electronic circuit board which includes a connector. Shafts of a removal tool of the press mechanism can be inserted into a series of openings in the connector, respectively, in response to applying a downward force to the press mechanism. A capturing element on each of the shafts can be actuated where the capturing element couples to a wall defining the opening of each of the openings. The connector can be removed from the electronic circuit board by applying an upward force to the press mechanism which removes the connector with the capturing element of the shafts coupled to the wall of the opening, and releasing the press mechanism from the base fixture.
