  • Publication number: 20160172885
Abstract: A charging system for a battery powered device is described. The system has a battery charger with charging terminals for a battery. An adapter is connected to the charging terminals of the battery charger. An inverter is operatively connected to the adapter and to a source of AC power. A charge module is operatively connected to the receptors on the battery powered device. A power cable electrically connects the adapter to the charge module, the power cable providing DC current from the inverter to the charge module to operate the battery powered device using DC current.

  • Patent number: 4557475
Abstract: An activity field is surfaced with a cushioned, resilient rubber mat over a hard undersurface. One area of the field is subject to participant impact potentially resulting in injury. That area is provided with a closed cell shock absorbing foam pad between the rubber mat and the hard undersurface to permit the mat to flex restrained by the foam pad to attenuate an impact. The rubber mat is bonded to the pad by a flexible adhesive and both the mat and the pad are bonded to said undersurface. The mat extends beyond the perimeter of the pad.

  • Patent number: 4505039
Abstract: The seaming tool has elongated upper and lower plates hinged along their long edges to open like a book. The bottom of the lower plate has stops parallel to the hinge. The stops engage the edge of already laid floor covering and the to-be-laid material is positioned between the plates. The free edge of the upper plate now serves as the cutting guide. It is slightly closer to the hinge than the stop means to ensure a slight overlap of the materials to require a tight or force fit at the joint.

  • Patent number: 4008417
Abstract: An electronic monitoring circuit to detect unbalanced voltage conditions on a three phase alternating current line employs the charging current to a condenser connected across a full wave rectifier bridge to trigger a multivibrator circuit that controls an output relay in accordance with the multivibrator cycles per cycle of the power line voltage.
