  • Publication number: 20240158312
Abstract: A fertilizer production plant is co-located with an ethanol production plant. Low value organic material waste such as corn fiber is gasified to produce hydrogen. Ambient air is separated to produce nitrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen and nitrogen are reacted to produce ammonia. Carbon dioxide generated by the ethanol production plant and the ammonia are reacted to produce urea. The oxygen and ammonia are used to produce ammonium nitrate, and urea and ammonium nitrate are processed to produce area ammonium nitrate (UAN).

  • Patent number: 10104842
Abstract: An apparatus, such as for tree trimming, includes a mobile carriage having a frame and a pedestal supported by the frame. The apparatus further includes a boom, such as a telescoping boom that is secured to the pedestal through a boom support. The pedestal is pivotable with respect to the carriage frame so that the boom may be selectively operated in a variety of orientations. The mobile carriage of the apparatus is sufficiently compact to fit though tight openings, while also being capable of stably supporting boom extension for operation of a distal end of the boom at elevated heights.
