    Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for line and lure restraint to enhance spin casting. The apparatus is mountable to a fishing rod adjacent to a line reel maintained on the rod and includes a mount having a positioning arm with a mounting clip at one end and a platform at an opposite end. A neodymium ring magnet with first and second steel washers at opposite sides thereof is located on a bushing. An axial securement rotatably secures this assembly at the platform. The positioning arm is configured to selectively locate the magnate assembly relative to the rod and reel.

The streamer material is stored in a chamber at one or the other of the carriage or the disk when they are engaged, and is unfurled when the disk is disengaged from the carriage by the user and cast away from the carriage (and thus away from the user).

    Abstract: A selectively positionable scraping apparatus is disclosed for scraping matter from the sole of articles of footwear, for example ski boots or shoes. The apparatus is mountable, for example, on the upper surfaces of a ski adjacent to the ski boot binding toe piece and includes a mounting portion and a scraper connected with the mounting portion and movable with respect thereto between stored and operative positions. A spring biases the scraper toward the operative position abutting the binding toe piece and a retainer connected with the mounting portion is provided for releasably securing the scraper in the stored position.
