  • Patent number: 10220983
Abstract: A one piece metal bottle has an open mouth and a neck with a smooth exterior surface and an threaded bottle ring. An interior neck surface of the threaded bottle ring has a smooth configuration positionable upon the neck of the bottle. An exterior neck surface has male threads adapted to removably receive a crown cap. An annular lower edge is positionable in contact with at least one axial projection extending outwardly from the bottle, below and in contact with the threaded bottle ring, to abate downward movement of the threaded bottle ring. An annular upper edge is positionable in contact with a collar formed in an annular cylindrical configuration extending outwardly from the bottle, above and in contact with the threaded bottle ring, to abate upward movement of the threaded bottle ring.

  • Patent number: 10214326
Abstract: A one piece closure has a distal section, a proximal section, and an intermediate section. The intermediate section has a cylindrical center with a first annular fold extending radially inwardly and a second annular fold extending radially inwardly. The first and second folds are parallel forming an annular channel there between extending for less than 360 degrees creating a gap. The cylindrical center is formed with a hole. A C-shaped snap ring is positioned within the annular channel. The snap ring has spaced free ends. The snap ring has a projection sized to extend into the hole in the cylindrical center. The projection of the snap ring is of a first color. The remainder of the snap ring is of a second color.

  • Patent number: 10195658
Abstract: The first step is positioning a first die adjacent to the intermediate extent, the first die having a first radius of curvature, the first die being positioned adjacent to the free edge. The next step is activating the first die to create a primary curl in the intermediate extent. The next step is positioning a second die adjacent to the intermediate extent, the second die having a second radius of curvature, the second die being positioned adjacent to the primary curl. The last step is activating the second die to create a secondary curl.

  • Patent number: 9499312
Abstract: A crown cap is adapted to be removably coupled to a container. The crown cap has a generally circular central region and a downwardly extending side wall in a generally frusto-conical configuration. The side wall has an interior surface and an exterior surface and an end edge remote from the central region. The exterior surface is formed with a plurality of exterior recesses spaced from the end edge to facilitate shaping of the side wall. The exterior surface has an odd number of recesses. The generally central region includes an annular V-shaped projection facing the end edge between the central portion and the side wall for the receipt of an adhesive for sealing a container.

  • Patent number: 9499311
Abstract: A crown cap is adapted to be removably coupled to a bottle. The crown cap has a circular central region and a downwardly extending side wall in a generally cylindrical configuration. The side wall having a circular periphery with a plurality of recesses to facilitate shaping of the side wall, side wall terminating in an inwardly scrolled lower edge. The central region of the crown cap radially terminates in an upwardly extending exterior projection. The crown cap has a downwardly extending interior projection radially interior of the exterior projection. An adhesive is provided in the exterior projection.

  • Patent number: 8807363
Abstract: An anti-taint molded barrier tip system has a primary component and a tip component. The primary component is formed of an upper section, a lower section, and an intermediate section. The upper and lower sections are cylindrical. The diameter of the lower section is less than the diameter of the upper section. The intermediate section is formed as a cylindrical notch with a diameter less than the diameter of the lower section. The tip component has an exterior surface and a lower surface and an annular upper surface. The tip component has a recess extending downwardly from the annular upper surface. The recess has an enlarged cylindrical lower region receiving the lower section of the primary component. The recess has a cylindrical upper region receiving the intermediate section of the primary component.

  • Publication number: 20100282706
Abstract: A crown cap is couplable to a container. The crown cap has a central region and a downwardly extending side wall. At least one score line is in a geometric configuration on the central region of the crown cap. The at least one score line forms a tongue. The tongue is adapted to be bent or hinged downwardly. In this manner a passageway is provided for a liquid. A lever is coupled to the crown cap. A post extends through the lift lever and the central region of the crown cap. A tamper-evident secure band is designed into the side wall of the crown cap. A non-corrosive material is used to form the crown cap, lever and attachment post.
