Publication number: 20070174117Abstract: A person is viewing a display. By evaluating tracked information about the person, the display and/or the content being viewed, a tracking system determines that an opportunity exists to present an advertisement that is relevant to the person in the context of the person currently viewing the display. The tracking system provides advertiser data for the advertisement and instructions for generating the advertisement to a synthesis system local to the viewer and the viewer's display system, which dynamically synthesizes the advertisement and provides it to the display.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 23, 2006Publication date: July 26, 2007Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Gregory Hendrickson, James Reichert, Jonathan Cluts, Pamela Heath, Sven Pleyer, David Baumert, John Gallagher, Wistar Rinearson, Flora Goldthwaite

Publication number: 20060233055Abstract: A system and related techniques integrate the accessing, retrieving and playback of enhanced music or other digital media or content, including to permit advanced authoring, mixing and environmental inputs and effects. According to embodiments of the invention in one regard, a user may access a playback engine to retrieve and dynamically mix, manage and integrate music content with environmental sensors and effects such as detection people or numbers or people, lighting effects and other sensory experience. Thus the tempo of a mixed music track may vary with the number or persons in a room or the time of day or night, or lighting effects may brighten or dim based on dynamic contrasts in the music or other content. According to further embodiments, the playback engine may permit a user to link or navigate to other community resources such as a Web site detailing an artist, album, movie or soundtrack, or a bulletin board for consumers with an interest in artists, actors or others.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 15, 2005Publication date: October 19, 2006Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Gregory Hendrickson, David Baumert, James Reichert, Pamela Heath, Sven Pleyer

Publication number: 20060185267Abstract: A roofing system including horizontal or sloped metal framing members, for example, C-joists, U-joists, open web joists, or other metal frame systems that support a reinforced, lightweight, dimensionally stable SCP panel. The roofing system is non-combustible, water durable, mold and rot resistant, termite resistant and is capable of resisting shear loads equal to or exceeding shear loads provided by plywood or oriented strand board panels. The panels employ one or more layers of a continuous phase resulting from the curing of an aqueous mixture of inorganic binder, for example, calcium sulfate alpha hemihydrate, hydraulic cement, an active pozzolan and lime. The continuous phase is reinforced with glass fibers and contains lightweight filler particles, for example, ceramic microspheres.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2005Publication date: August 24, 2006Applicant: UNITED STATES GYPSUM COMPANYInventors: Timothy Tonyan, James Ullett, James Reicherts

Publication number: 20060188674Abstract: A packaged membrane is adapted to be sold, stored and transported to the site of use. The membrane includes a base mat and a flexible cement-based coating applied to the base mat. The coating includes a hydraulic component and water. The membrane is then rolled and packaged in a tubular package. Preferably, the coating also includes a water-soluble, film forming polymer. It is also preferred that the hydraulic component include at least 50% fly ash by weight.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 18, 2006Publication date: August 24, 2006Inventors: Mark Fernette, James Reicherts, Ashish Dubey

Publication number: 20060184993Abstract: The present invention provides at least a method and system for collecting and using data with a computing device for a smart closet. With respect to the present invention, a computing device processes information from the interaction of a user with an interactive device such as a mirror or display. Information is relayed to the user to enable to the user to make informed decisions about the clothing to wear. The user interacts with the computing device using gesture recognition, voice inputs, motion recognition, or touch.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2005Publication date: August 17, 2006Inventors: Flora Goldthwaite, Jonathan Cluts, Gregory Hendrickson, James Reichert, David Baumert

Patent number: 6410118Abstract: An exterior wall assembly water management system that provides the designer and building owner with the popular esthetics of synthetic stucco and the long-term reliability of water management. The water managed exterior system includes flashing, a weather-resistive barrier, a water durable board, a basecoat and an exterior finish. Either the water durable board, or an insulation layer secured to the water durable board, forms the exterior cladding of the building structure, and the basecoat and the exterior stucco finish are applied to the outer surface of the water durable board, or in the alternative to the insulation layer. The disclosed water managed exterior system efficiently directs any penetrating water to weeps, or the like, by providing a water drainage medium between the weather-resistive barrier and the water durable board. The unwanted water drains downwards via the drainage medium, is caught at the base of the wall by the flashing, and is further drained outside of the wall cladding.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 1997Date of Patent: June 25, 2002Assignee: USG Interiors, Inc.Inventors: James Reicherts, Timothy Tonyan, John Lankford, Timothy Kenny
