  • Publication number: 20230322040
Abstract: A pneumatic gauge and pressure control device includes a pneumatic gauge that is manually movable from a neutral position to: (i) a fill position for compressed air to flow from a compressed air source into a system; or (ii) a vent position for compressed air to be vented from the system. The pneumatic gauge can rotate or slide from the neutral position to the fill and vent positions. A method for controlling a flow of compressed air with respect to a pneumatic system includes manually moving a pneumatic pressure gauge from a neutral position to a fill position to cause compressed air to be communicated from an associated compressed air source into the pneumatic system and/or moving the pneumatic gauge from the neutral position or from the fill position to a vent position to cause compressed air to be vented from the pneumatic system.

  • Patent number: 9194453
Abstract: A gas spring assembly includes an unreinforced flexible wall formed from a polymeric material and an external reinforcing structure extending lengthwise along and around the periphery of the unreinforced flexible wall. The external reinforcing structure is capable of extending and collapsing together with corresponding extension and compression of the flexible wall. The gas spring assembly also includes opposing end members. The external reinforcing structure can be formed from a plurality of interconnecting wall segments that at least partially define a plurality of openings extending through the external reinforcing structure. A suspension system is also included.

  • Patent number: 7614630
Abstract: A mounting bracket assembly capable of operatively engaging an associated jounce tongue of an associated vehicle suspension and supporting a supplemental air spring assembly in spaced relation to an associated sprung or unsprung mass of the associated vehicle. The mounting bracket assembly can include a first bracket supported on the associated jounce tongue and a second bracket supported on the first bracket. A supplemental suspension system can include an air spring assembly and a mounting spring assembly. A supplemental suspension system kit is also included.

  • Patent number: 7497423
Abstract: A piston assembly used in forming a gas spring assembly includes a first piston member and a second piston member telescopically engaging one another and capable of axial displacement relative to one another between collapsed and extended conditions. The first piston member includes a mounting end and the second piston member includes a flexible wall-engaging end. The first and second piston members arranged such that in the collapsed condition the mounting and flexible wall-engaging ends are disposed a first distance from one another and in the extended condition the mounting and flexible wall-engaging ends are disposed at a second distance from one another with the second distance being greater than the first distance. A gas spring assembly and suspension system utilizing such a piston assembly as well as a method are also included.
