Patent number: 11973651Abstract: The system described herein provides a method for deploying, managing, scaling, configuring, upgrading, and modifying large complicated systems that are made-up of many different network resources. These network resources may be virtual machines or containers. The system constructs a hierarchical SNS by building up layers from the inside of an outer SNS. The system conducts health checks at each layer to ensure the system is properly functioning and the deployment is healthy. Lastly, third party vendors input logic in each layer to identify a desired state for the system. Once the desired state is identified, each layer can determine the necessary actions to upgrade from the current state to the desired state. This system simplifies, adds efficiency, and increases security when deploying, scaling, configuring, upgrading, or modifying the system.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2023Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: James Duncan Parsons, Peter Louis White, Sunniva Rose Carter

Patent number: 11804044Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for intelligent correlation of video and text content using machine learning. Example methods include determining first video content having a first video segment and first text corresponding to the first video segment, generating a first embedded vector using the first video segment and the first text, and determining, using a first machine learning model, a first image relevance score for the first video content based at least in part on the first embedded vector. Example methods may include determining a first text score for the first video content based at least in part on the first embedded vector, determining, using the first image relevance score and the first text score, that the first video segment depicts content of a first undesired category, and causing presentation of a notification indicating presence of content of the first undesired category.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2022Date of Patent: October 31, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventor: Dylan James Rose

Patent number: 11518413Abstract: An autonomous vehicle collects sensor data of an environment surrounding the autonomous vehicle including traffic entities such as pedestrians, bicyclists, or other vehicles. The sensor data is provided to a machine learning based model along with an expected turn direction of the autonomous vehicle to determine a hidden context attribute of a traffic entity given the expected turn direction of the autonomous vehicle. The hidden context attribute of the traffic entity represents factors that affect the behavior of the traffic entity, and the hidden context attribute is used to predict future behavior of the traffic entity. Instructions to control the autonomous vehicle are generated based on the hidden context attribute.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2021Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: PERCEPTIVE AUTOMATA, INC.Inventors: Samuel English Anthony, Till S. Patent number: 11040692Abstract: An airbag inflator includes a pressure vessel with a bottom portion, a top portion and a center structure connecting the bottom portion and the top portion. The top portion includes an exit orifice that is closed with a rupturable membrane. An energetics cover attached to the center structure houses a pyrotechnic material, and a diverter is attached to the top portion. The pressure vessel, the energetics cover and the diverter define a gas flow path from inside the energetics cover toward the bottom portion of the pressure vessel, the gas flow path turning at least a first 180 degrees toward the top portion of the pressure vessel and between the energetics cover and the pressure vessel. The longer gas flow path allows time for multi-perforation grain slivers to burn up before exiting the inflator, thereby reducing the amount of particulate exiting the inflator.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2019Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Assignee: ARC Automotive, Inc.Inventors: Scott Lohmann, Rebekah Reid, James Rose, Robert Zimbrich
