Publication number: 20240095815Abstract: A modeling system determines a physical location of a device in a store and a virtual location in a virtual model of a store that corresponds to the physical location. The modeling system determines, from the virtual model, a subset of model data based on the virtual location. The model data comprises store location data applicable to the entire store, shelf data applicable to shelves in the store, and planogram data applicable to the shelves and products associated with the shelves. The subset of model data comprises the store location data, a subset of the shelf data applicable to at least a shelf within a predefined distance of the physical location of the device, and a subset of the planogram data applicable to at least the shelf and a product associated with the shelf. The modeling system generates a presentation of a scene based on the subset of model data.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Mason E. Patent number: 11718847Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for amplifying a pool of oligonucleotides, such as dual guide oligonucleotide constructs comprising sequences encoding a first guide RNA segment and a sequence encoding a second guide RNA segment. An amplification mixture is formed comprising the pool of oligonucleotides, an amplification enzyme, deoxyribonucleotide triphosphates, and primers. The amplification mixture is thermocycled a sufficient number of times and under conditions to produce a library of oligonucleotide constructs. The present methods and compositions provide dual guide libraries, including libraries that are essentially free of scrambled library members.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2018Date of Patent: August 8, 2023Assignee: Agilent Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Carl Braman, Peter James Sheffield, Holly Hogrefe

Publication number: 20050120488Abstract: A roofing hatchet having a magnetic striking face is hereby disclosed. A unique shouldered cap housing the magnet dampens the forces transferred from the striking by transferring the force directly to the hatchet head, bypassing the magnet, thereby preventing demagnetization typically caused by such repeated linear forces. Additional features include a cutting blade housing adapted to adjustably receive a variety of different commercially available utility knife blades, an adjustable gauge for gauging a distance from the bitted end of the hatchet, and a pulling notch for pulling fasteners from a surface. Unlike prior art hatchets, the handle of the inventive hatchet is angled, relative to the striking face, such that the force transfer from the hand of a user to a fastener being driven into a sloping surface is optimized.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2003Publication date: June 9, 2005Inventor: James Sheffield

Patent number: 6530770Abstract: A mold assembly is made up of a nozzle tip and a nozzle tip receiving housing. The nozzle tip has an outwardly projecting shoulder and a threaded base and the housing has a hollow stem with an internal recess and a threaded socket for receiving the base of the nozzle tip. The assembly further includes a locking member having both internal and external projections. The locking member fits over the nozzle tip with the external projection of the locking member locating within the internal recess of the housing stem and with the outwardly projecting shoulder of the nozzle tip trapped by the internal projection of the locking member to block unthreading of the nozzle tip from the housing.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2001Date of Patent: March 11, 2003Inventors: James Sheffield, Mario Giansante, John Kuipers

Patent number: 5356284Abstract: The present invention provides a mold with gas ejection of pieces formed in the mold. The mold includes a female body part and a male body part. The male body part includes a male molding surface with a surrounding plastic injection shut off face and a reciprocable gas controlling blow off pin slideably trapped within a pin recess at the shut off face. The pin has an enlarged bottom portion and a narrowed upper portion with a gas passage starting upwardly through the lower bottom portion into the upper portion and opening sideways through the pin which has a solid top surface above the sideways opening. The pin receiving recess has an undercut configuration including a small diameter upper region and a larger diameter base region with clearance for sliding of the pin in the recess. The clearance is at a minimum near the solid top surface of the pin and increases downwardly from the upper to the lower portion of the pin.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 1991Date of Patent: October 18, 1994Assignee: Izon Industries Inc.Inventor: James Sheffield
