    Abstract: A transportable medical cart includes a frame assembly and a plurality of panels removably mounted on the frame assembly including a horizontal top panel, a pair of side panels and a pair of extension panels. The side panels are movable from a retracted position wherein the side panels are disposed in parallel planes perpendicular to the top panel to a non-retracted position wherein the side panels are disposed at an angle to the planes. The extension panels are movable from a non-extended position wherein the extension panels overlap the side panels in the retracted position to an extended position wherein the extension panels are horizontally aligned with the top panel. The side panels in the non-retracted position support the extension panels in the extended position. A plurality of drawer assemblies are removably mounted to the frame assembly, each including a slide rail and a drawer supported on the slide rail.

The extension panels are movable from a non-extended position wherein the extension panels are disposed vertically over the side panels in the retracted position to an extended position wherein the extension panels are horizontally aligned with the top panel. The side panels are releasably locked to the extension panels, respectively, with the side panels in the non-retracted position and the extension panels supported thereon, respectively, in the extended position.
