Publication number: 20240175653Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and techniques for authenticating a user at gun. The gun may include an authentication manager capable of implementing logic, processing signals, or executing instructions. The authentication manager may receive first query data from a first authentication sensor of the gun, receive second query data from a second authentication sensor of the gun, perform an authentication procedure to determine whether the first query data or the second query data matches enrollment data, where a match is determined based on the first query data or the second query data and the enrollment data satisfying a similarity threshold. The authentication manager may determine that the user is authorized to operate the gun and transmit a signal in response to the determining that the user is authorized to operate the gun. The signal may cause the gun to enter an active state which allows the gun to be fired.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2024Publication date: May 30, 2024Inventors: Kai Thorin Kloepfer, Bryan Edward Rogers, Donna Kelley, Jack Hugo Thiesen, Timothy Joel Thorson, Christopher James Owens

Patent number: 9179076Abstract: Images stored in a camera are edited using a television device. The television device determines that the camera incorporates television device remote control editing capabilities and sends a sequence of television device remote control output signals from a television device remote control to the camera to edit an image stored on the camera. The television device receives the edited image, as edited using remote control output signals, from the camera and generates signals for displaying the edited image on a display associated with the television device. This abstract is not to be considered limiting, since other embodiments may deviate from the features described in this abstract.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2014Date of Patent: November 3, 2015Assignee: Sony CorporationInventor: Bradley James Thorson

Patent number: 6124250Abstract: The invention provides a process for preparing a highly alkaline, solid cleaning composition in a batch or continuous mixing system, at or below the melting temperature of the alkaline ingredients, and products produced by the process. Preferably, the ingredients are processed in an extruder, and the mixture is extruded directly into a mold or other packaging system for dispensing the cleaning composition. The consistency of the product ranges from that of a fused block solid to a malleable product. The highly alkaline cleaning compositions are useful for warewashing and cleaning hard surfaces, rinsing, sanitizing, deodorizing, laundry detergents, and the like.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 1997Date of Patent: September 26, 2000Assignee: Ecolab Inc.Inventors: Keith E.
