    Abstract: A protective end cap device that includes an end cap casing and a protection switch. The end cap casing includes one or two conductive pins and defines a notch located to one side of the conductive pin. The protection switch is disposed at least in part inside the end cap casing and within the notch, and includes a first switch pin and a second switch pin. The first switch pin is electrically connected to the conductive pin and the second switch pin is electrically connected to a power supply circuit board.
