  • Patent number: 11932979
Abstract: A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry items according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a cabinet defining an interior and having an access opening providing access to the interior. A tub can be located within the interior and can at least partially define a liquid chamber. A drum is rotatably mounted within the liquid chamber and at least partially defines a treating chamber. A clothes mover is located within the treating chamber and rotatable about a vertical axis. The clothes mover can include a base and a barrel.

  • Patent number: 7194936
Abstract: A convertible retaining ring pliers has a pivot, first and second jaws and first and second handles rotatably secured about the pivot. A pair of transfer pins is slidably disposed for selective movement in the jaws and the handles for establishing alternative operating positions enabling the jaws to move either inwardly or outwardly as the handles move inwardly. A switching mechanism is provided for simultaneous shifting of the transfer pins in the jaws and the handles. The switching mechanism includes reaction member housing assemblies which are mounted on opposite ends of the pivot and disposed on opposite external surfaces of the handles. A switchplate structure is rotatably mounted for side-to-side movement about the pivot, and is slidably positioned between at least one reaction member housing assembly and the external surface of one of the handles.

  • Patent number: 5575464
Abstract: An improvement in a stacking system having an urge roller, an input guide, a spring loaded backup paddle, a substantially horizontal surface and a substantially vertical registration wall. The improvement comprising a rib wrapped around the surface of the urge roller in a helical pattern. Thus, as the urge roller rotates and feeds an article toward the vertical registration wall, the helical rib forces the bottom edge of the article into contact with the horizontal surface. As a result, a properly aligned and tight stack of articles is formed.

  • Patent number: 4476750
Abstract: A convertible retaining ring pliers includes a pair of jaws and a pair of handles all rotatable independently about a common pivot. Each jaw includes a transverse bore spaced from and parallel to the pivot axis for receiving an elongated cylindrical latching pin. Each handle has an associated end plate disposed on one side of the jaws, the end plates having holes to selectively receive an end of a latching pin to selectively latch a jaw to a respective handle. The latching pin bores have elongated grooves and the latching pins have associated friction springs with projecting tabs coacting with those grooves to retain the pins within the assembled pliers. Elongated retaining ring tips have hexagonal shanks received in multi-sided jaw recesses to retain the tips against rotation and to enable selected rotational orientation of the tips.

  • Patent number: 4280265
Abstract: Retaining ring pliers having coplanar jaws independently and movably secured and handles independently and rotatably secured about the pivot. Fulcrum pins slideably disposed in each of the jaws being equal distance from the pivot. The pins may alternately engage first handle and first jaw and second handle and second jaw and be reversed such that the first handle engage the second jaw and the second handle engage the first jaw.
