Patent number: 11971782Abstract: Systems and methods for a controller including controller memory and logic are presented herein. The logic is configured to control access to a persistent storage media and, in response to one or more commands, the logic determines an intermediate parity value based on a first parity calculation, and using the intermediate parity value determines a final parity value based on the intermediate parity value and a second parity calculation. Determining the intermediate parity value includes sending a uni-directional command to read an old data value from an address indicated in the uni-directional command, perform an exclusive-or operation on the old data value and a new data value indicated in the uni-directional command to determine the intermediate parity value and store, in the persistent storage media, the intermediate parity value at a location associated to an index indicated in the uni-directional command.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2020Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: SK Hynix NAND Product Solutions Corp.Inventors: Sanjeev Trika, Gregory Tucker, James Harris, Jonathan Hughes, Piotr Wysocki, Gang Cao, Qihua Dai, Benjamin Walker, Ziye Yang, Xiaodong Liu, Changpeng Liu, Jackson Ellis

Patent number: 11968881Abstract: Shadow masks comprising a multi-layer membrane having a mechanical pre-bias that compensates the effect of gravity on the membrane are disclosed. A shadow mask in accordance with the present disclosure includes a membrane that is patterned with a desired pattern of apertures. The layers of the membrane are selected such that their residual stresses collectively give rise to a stress gradient that is directed normal to the plane of the membrane such that the stress gradient mitigates gravity-induced sag. In some embodiments, the membrane includes a layer pair having internal stresses that are of opposite signs to effect a tendency to bulge outward from the plane of the membrane prior to its release from the substrate. An exemplary membrane includes a layer pair comprising a layer of stoichiometric silicon dioxide that is under residual compressive stress and a layer of stoichiometric silicon nitride that is under residual tensile stress.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2021Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: eMagin CorporationInventor: James A. Patent number: 11959950Abstract: A power meter for measuring power usage in a circuit includes preprocessor and a weighting network. The pre-processor is configured to receive toggle data for a number of power proxy signals in the circuit for a plurality of clock cycles of the circuit in a first time window. The power proxy signals and weighting values are determined automatically from simulated or emulated toggle data. For each power proxy signal, the pre-processor averages the toggle data over one or more clock cycles in one or more second time windows, within the first time window, to provide averaged toggle data, and outputs the averaged toggle data for each second time window. The weighting network is configured to combine the averaged toggle data from the power proxy signals, based on a set of weight values, to provide a measure of the power usage.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2021Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Arm LimitedInventors: Xiaoqing Xu, Zhiyao Xie, Shidhartha Das, Matthew James Walker, Kumara Guru Palaniswamy, Matthew Paul Elwood

Patent number: 11900144Abstract: A controller of a quantum system identifies a phase update trigger for a quantum object of the quantum system and an interaction time. Responsive to identifying the phase update trigger, the controller determines, for between a first time and the interaction time, (a) a location/transport effect on a phase of the quantum object based on locations thereof and transport operations performed thereon, and (b) a quantum operation effect on the phase of the quantum object based on any quantum operations applied thereto. The immediately previous phase update for the quantum object occurred at the first time. Based on the location/transport effect, the quantum operation effect, and the interaction time, the controller determines an interaction time phase of the quantum object. The controller adjusts operation of a manipulation source such that a phase of a signal generated by the manipulation source corresponds to the interaction time phase at the interaction time.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2019Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Quantinuum LLCInventors: James A.
