The laminate generally includes a central core layer of barrier polymer film disposed between a slip film and a thermostable film. In particularly advantageous embodiments, the barrier film is a polychlorotrifluoroethylene film, the slip film is a polyvinyl chloride film, and the heat resistant film is a temperature resistant copolyester. The disclosed material provides a high moisture barrier and a stable inter-laminar structure that can withstand hot filling of liquids, such as liquids used to form soft and/or gummy dosages on form-fill-and-seal blister packaging machines.
