    Abstract: An electronic stamp device, embodied in a physical object, which is secure and which is able to provide a verifiable electronic signature. The electronic stamp device comprises a touchpoint detection technology for detecting a plurality of touchpoints when the device is applied to a document, whether electronic or physical. The touchpoint detection technology may for example comprise any suitable sensor or combination thereof, including but not limited to an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer or an IMU (inertial measurement unit), a pressure sensor, or a combination thereof.
